I don't get your question, but:

Scientific notation can be any x10^x, as long as it's:
Not negative (by this I don't mean the exponent, but the 10 as a base to the exponent)
Not infinity
A real number

And the base has one real and rational number in the ones place followed by as many decimals as desired/allowed due to significant figures (a.bcdef x10^x, where a, b, c, d, e, and f each represent integers).

Math = greater than all (except science).

1.0 x10^5
1.637493896 x10^0

The following are not:
63.8 x10^2
0.165 x10^35987

It's always got at least one integer in the one's place, an exponential base of ten, and an exponent that is not infinity.
