I'm really enjoying Pelican and Dredg, but havn't heard any Deftones. Where should I start? Care to put some on the daily upload?

Check out White Pony first. It's probably the easiest of their albums to get into. Their other three releases are quite a bit less refine than WP. Still good albums, but for a start, check out White Pony.

I've been listening to that album so much lately.

Anyway, I see Pelican on May 10th :-D

So I had a tennis match on Thursday. The match was at 4:00, and at around 1:00 that day, it started raining a little bit, and if you've ever played tennis, playing on wet courts is a bad idea, so everyone basically called off the match.

Then at 3:30, it stopped raining, and since we don't really get much rain in Eastern Washington, the match was going to go on. Unfortunately in the meantime of those 2.5 hours, one player a couple of his buddies decided to throw back a few ounces of alcohol.

On school grounds, mind you.

Then, before the match during the lineups at 4:00ish, the player who was, by now, quite inebriated, was standing there, doing his drunk thing(blurting out random phrases, you know drunk people, right?)...Sadly for him, the principal of our high school was overseeing the match or something, and overheard this guy say something along the lines of "I'm so Effing drunk," so my principal escorted my teammate and his two older friends to the office, where he proceeded to call the police. Once the police arrived, they started arresting the three guys, when my teammate decided to bolt.

1) He's drunk
2) It's broad daylight
3) In a parking lot
4) 3 cop cars

100 yards and 2 more felony charges later, all three men were in custody.

My teammate got 6 charges; Minor in possession, Minor in consumption, public disorder, public drunkeness, 3rd degree assault, and evading a police officer.

Rough day.

That's tough luck for that kid. If you think your match is cancelled then it's a good time to celebrate, because you really didn't want to have the match anyway. So now you start drinking a little earlier and then you get owned by the reschedule.

Yeah, and worse yet, his prom date was playing a match during the time he was getting arrested, and her parents were there watching the whole thing go down, and this girl and her family is like..hXc sXe 4 lyfe. She's already found a prom date, which is good for her.

He gets out of jail tomorrow. His parents wouldn't bail him out. :lol:

That sucks for him. Either way you gotta be a pretty big jackass to do somthing like that.

They were smoking before the match, but they didn't get caught. They got lucky in a way...

But yeah, jackasses for sure.
