When Radiohead come back to Australia, I'll fly to see them if I have to.
I'm going to Thailand again at the end of the year with my family and coming back home on my own while they stay overseas for another couple of weeks. This kind of scares me, but I think it will be good plus living on my own for two weeks will be awesome. |
Kyles birthday?? congratulation!!!!
if you want to have tickets for a show which is already sold out you probably gonna pay about 60-70€ on ebay although they are actually about 30€. thats a damn rip-off. i really hate that. |
Cheers man.
I'm not even gonna bother paying Ebay prices, I'll just hope to see them in an arena tour or something. |
Happy Birthday Kyle.
|
I had a dream last night that I was at play rehearsal and suddenly everyone broke out into a Bee Thousand sing-a-long. It was glorious.
|
I'm sitting through Larry the Cable Guy on Leno just so I can watch Neko Case.
I flipped over to that from Letterman for about 30 seconds. Wow, was it bad. (Larry, not Neko) |
How was Neko? Knock Loud is such an amazing song.
|
ArrestThisMan is back, yay.
|
I'm 18 today :D
Happy birthday guy. |
Welcome to the club Kyle. And welcome back ATM. :chug:
After being sandwiched between a 60 watt amp and a drum set for 2 hours of jamming in a 2 1/2 cubicle-sized room, I can safely say my ears aren't alright. |
Bored bored bored. What's a new good record I need to listen to?
|
Hmm...check out:
Starlight Mints - Built on Squares by the way guys, I never left! I changed my name from Slug |
Yes, and it upset me greatly, and now I'm happy again.
|
Jose Gonzalez is good, as well.

Sounds like a neat book!
It's a great book, the only weak chapter is on Beat Happening But the other 12 bands more than make up for it. |
When Radiohead come back to Australia, I'll fly to see them if I have to.
I've already done that once and I'll do it again if I have to when they come back. Well worth it. |
Indeed.
by the way guys, I never left! I changed my name from Slug
Yes and it's a definite change for the better. |
I've had the Jose Gonzales record for a while and it's wonderful. I know Butch Walker well, and he's fallen out of favor with me since his days as a local boy, but interestingly I have never really listened to Elvis Costello, so I think I'll check him out.
|
I wondered where this Slug character just appeared from.
|
Yes. Definitely check out Costello because he rooooooooooooooolz.

Your bro's band is playing up this-a-way in May I think, I might go have a look see. Even after 4.5 years on mx, I've still never met another member. What's that new Strokes song that JJJ are playing a bit, the one with the fastish triplet feel? |
Heart in a Cage is a choon, they will undoubtebly release Razorblade next.
|
Oh god.
I just checked my "presumed SAT score" (I haven't taken it, but the PSAT gives an average. It's MUCH lower than anything I need to get into the colleges I want... :upset: Here's to hoping I can raise it by the time I'm in 11th... |
Why stand on a silent platform?
Fight the war. **** the norm |
Heh, I've been listening to Rage Against The Machine in the last couple of weeks. I sometimes forget how good they actually were, such a fun band to play on guitar too.
Take it back Y'all, Take it back Y'all, Take it back, Take it back and Take it back y'all! |
Their self-titled album is pretty much flawless, and "Know Your Enemy" has one of the best riffs ever.

that album owns so much. settle for nothing has the eeriest guitar solo ever. |
Yeah, I always loved Renegades aswell but not many people liked it as much. It's not as good as their debut but I like the exteneded Hip hop influences.
|
I saw Coldplay last night () with what seemed like half of my high school. Certainly different than most of the shows I've been to, but surprisingly enjoyable nonetheless.
Richard Ashcroft opened with a fairly boring set, although my middle school dreams were fulfilled when he ended with "Bittersweet Symphony". |
Township Rebellion = best song off s/t
