My chem teacher is...I guess he's alright. He's really nice, and goes over the stuff in plenty of detail.

I love my Spanish teacher though...he knows who Symphony X is. :thumb:
No one needs Social Studies anyway :p
Haha. Social Studies ended in grade 6 for me. It becomes history and geography in grade 7.

Lord Abortion 09-13-2005 02:42 PM

So...my band has a second guitarist again
It's one of the ones who we kicked out, I hope he turns up to the bastard practices, which is tomorrow.

For me SS was until Eigth, then we had American Cultures in 9th and 10th, and now we have Modern European Cultures.

now all you need is a keyboardist...and no, i won't learn keyboard. i wish Philly hadn't wanted his bass back, now i have no instrument to play :upset:

Lord Abortion 09-13-2005 02:46 PM

Yeah, Josh, Selfie said he'd play...and he's coming to practice tomorrow, so I hope it turns out alright...

Chu 09-13-2005 02:46 PM

I think Social Studies is what we have as SOSE (Studies of Society and Environment or something..), was compulsary up until year 10.. :(

i am the robots 09-13-2005 02:48 PM

Not that anybody cares, but the new Korn song was a freaking dissapointment.

Shadows 09-13-2005 02:48 PM

I'm in AP European History. It is the hardest class you could possibly imagine. :(

yeh, twin guitar stuff will sound proper, Louis isn't bad but one guitar isn't enough. you could always cover some Dragonforce that doesn't have too much keyboard in it now, if Selfie can do some soloing.

Shadows 09-13-2005 03:11 PM
I have AP Euro next year.
I suggest you stay as far away from that class as you possibly can. AP Literature isn't hard for me, but Euro is tough as ****. Yours will probably be different, luckily.
WHA!!!? What Arsis!? Man...James is such a great lyricist. Wholly Night is some incredible stuff.
Yes it is. It conatins the best line on the album :

'A wielder of sickness, marching on, a flame in the name of the blackest dawn, now hear my call, your curse my fate shall befall.'

/cries.

Amazing song. Have you checked the boards? Mike talked to James Murphy this morning - the album is completely finished. It's all on it's way to be printed and the new mp3 will be up in a matter of days.

Arucard 09-13-2005 03:44 PM

I'll go look now. I'm in the process of making an Arsis logo for my leather jacket, this girl i know is making me the stencil of the logo and im going to spray it on.

Welp, me and my girlfriend just spent most of the afternoon discussing the latest thing to happen to our relationship and evaluating the state of the relationship.

The good news is, we have put it past us and we are back together :)

Shadows 09-13-2005 03:57 PM

Quick question - does anyone here have the new Cryptopsy album? I found the whole thing posted online, but it was in some weird format. I think it was ".nzb". I don't know what the hell that is.

Chris Farley is my alltime favorite alumni of SNL. He threw himself into his comedy (and a few tables), and was overall fucking hilarious. Ferrel is my second favorite because of the Cheerleading and Cowbell. HE also has the best DVD. His movies don't compare to Farley's though.

Phil Hartman and Chris Rock are my faves, personally.

GREAT album there man. If you like that one, check out Nightfall, which is even better.

Rasta Rocker 09-13-2005 07:26 PM

So yeah, I haven't been on MX forever....soccer and school run my life. Anyway, I found this Iron Maiden shirt that I'm dying to get, but I can't find anyone that sells it in the U.S. It's the "Killers- All Over" shirt with a big Eddie face on the front and on the back it has his hand holding up a bloody hatchet....so badass. And I don't want to import it, so if anyone knows where I can find a place that has them in the U.S. that'd be super :thumb:

Arrakakaka 09-13-2005 07:28 PM

How could anything be better than Epicus Doomicus Metallicus? :amaze:

Could you send me it VIA AIM?

Which?

Nice pick with Candlemass, incidentally.

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-13-2005 07:52 PM

Epicus Doomicus Metallicus is the name of the band? That has to be the coolest name I've heard in a while. :p

I want a joke band by the name of Extracirricular Zorgasm. It just has a nice ring to it.

Ray- Wahah, I knew it was something to do with your gf. I was going to ask, but you uh, seemed a bit down, so I decide to avoid it. Good to hear you've resolved. What exactly happened, if I may ask?

Jom 09-13-2005 08:04 PM

She rooted for the Yankees instead of the Red Sox in their recent series and said that her Raiders would bwomp the Patriots. After her Raiders lost, she refused to admit defeat, saying that the Patriots suck anyway and won't make it to the Super Bowl.

EDIT: this was a joke, by the way, in case anyone didn't get it.

So, I am pissed that I missed an opppurtunity to grab a Lost Horizon album a year ago, because I didn't know who they were. It just clicked that I could have bought it. DAMMIT!

So I just noticed the last 5 posts were made by people with stars... Maybe they are getting too prolific :-\

I haven't heard any Candlemass yet, but it's on my list...it's a long list though :(

Semi-beleivable, considering some of the content of some of this thread, and a somewhat memorable AIM chat involving everyone bitching about the Illini and the Spartans, and who's basketball team was better.

Vince- Why the alt account? Are you banninated, or do you just feel like racking up more posts than every other user on a different account? :p
