I'm so tired :(

Tyr 08-03-2008 08:31 AM

Too much work?

Txus 08-03-2008 08:34 AM

Yup, plus I went to a grindcore gig last night and I got knocked down twice, which sucked. I felt like such a fag :(

Motown 08-03-2008 08:37 AM

lol

Tyr 08-03-2008 08:41 AM

Was it a local band?

132WalrusesInMexico 08-03-2008 09:01 AM

:) I'm leaving to pick up my girlfriend from the airport. I haven't seen her in 8 months.

:)

Tyr 08-03-2008 09:20 AM

How far away does she live?

masscows 08-03-2008 09:21 AM

How can you deal with that?

Nepenthe 08-03-2008 10:29 AM

i fell down once at converge. it was lame. a bunch of dudes helped me up though so it was pretty cool.

i actually like work. being a waiter really isnt boring, or hard. good $$$, lots of hot girls, easy/not monotonous/slightly entertaining work. its good its good. and thats where im off to now.

AA-12 08-03-2008 10:30 AM

i could do that

then again i could do with any girlfriend right now

Tyr 08-03-2008 10:31 AM

A girlfriend would be nice.

Riva 08-03-2008 10:32 AM

I don't mind my work. I'm hanging out for when I graduate from Uni though. Can't wait to start working out at the mines.

Tyr 08-03-2008 10:33 AM

You must be pretty close to finishing your thesis now, Jason.

Riva 08-03-2008 10:35 AM

Nah, my Uni stuffed up the number of credits that I had so I am stuck with another 6 months of undergraduate study before I can start by Honours research project/work out at a minesite.

Does anyone know why Firefox 3.0.1 is such a memory hog that also slows down or freezes randomly (at least once an hour though). I thought this version was supposed to fix those little problems.

Tyr 08-03-2008 10:38 AM

That sucks. Are you taking more Chemistry or Geology?

Riva 08-03-2008 10:39 AM

Geology. I've exhausted the Chem I can study without going back to do 2nd year subjects, unfortunately.

That happened to me when 3 first game out. After updating it doesn't crash much at all now.

It still takes 500mb of memory normally though but I don't mind.

Tyr 08-03-2008 10:41 AM

Geology is more fun anyways, and you know it!

Riva 08-03-2008 10:44 AM

I might try looking for updates now then. Are you still living in Florida?
Geology is more fun anyways, and you know it!
Hehe, not when you're studying structural geology and dealing with stereonets. :(

Motown 08-03-2008 10:46 AM

firefox has never crashed for me

Tyr 08-03-2008 10:47 AM

I suck at Chem, so I'd still take Geology.

Riva 08-03-2008 10:49 AM

It'd be awesome if I could get placement in Sweden for 6 months or more working at the mines up north.

:(
Sure am. I doubt i'll be moving anytime soon.

Tyr 08-03-2008 10:56 AM
It'd be awesome if I could get placement in Sweden for 6 months or more working at the mines up north.
Yeah. It would be doubly beneficial for you. You could improve your Swedish at the same time, for free. Or you could be stuck all alone out in the fells prospecting uranium.

the2stranger 08-03-2008 12:00 PM

Howdy.

How's stuff folks?

Txus 08-03-2008 12:05 PM
Was it a local band?
Yup, pretty good stuff.

Stevie V 08-03-2008 12:06 PM
firefox has never crashed for me
its not unusual to have firefox crash and say restore old session or start a new one

i suppose you dont go to dodgy pr0n sites

Tyr 08-03-2008 12:08 PM
Yup, pretty good stuff.
Cool. I should go to more shows with local bands.

RiceMonster 08-03-2008 12:08 PM

Firefox doesn't really crash on me either. If it ever ****s up, it's because of Flash.

Oh, and Firefox 3 wasn't suppose to solve crashing issues on Firefox 2, it's not a bugfix release in itself. That's what release like 3.0.1 or whatever are for.
