well i mean, that's why i was asking mappy, since i know that you pretty much hate deathcore, anything i say you're going to laugh at.

I feel like that band is on another level of bad from your run of the mill bad deathcore band.

Most deathcore are these younger kids that play death metal and have shorter hair than the long haired band guys like the past. It's basically the same thing but people keep putting new tags on the music to make it sound special.

Bands like Animosity is pretty cool. I like Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, and The Red Chord.

are you serious about this? maybe its just that i generally cant stand british deathcore bands, but these vocals are - throughout - some of the worst i've ever heard. the guitars are well-played, and even have some cool riffs, but then they go all btbam (i only listened to "dead girls dont say no" [worst song title ever, btw]) wannabe epic and i felt like sodomizing an english guy in a tight goregrind-t-shirt and eyeliner

the only issue with his vocals are his brees, imo

and thats some big issue, seriously, a few minutes into "dead girls" i almost came blood (and not in a good way) :(:( i thought his screams were pretty godawful too

his vocals arent very stand-out or anything, but they have a raw quality, imo

The vocals are alright, nothing to bad, the instruments are awesome tho...I really don't care too much about vocals, I leave that to people who like post-hardcore/emo(lol)...don't bash BTBAM they are awesome FOOL!

obviously it's a matter of opinion, but all their vocals are really, [i]really[/i] bad, he sounds like he should be in a drunkpunk band half of the time, and if you listen to the breakdown 0:53 into "dead girls don't say no" and the one 2:32 in, and tell me thats in any way, shape or form good vocals, then i'll make you wear your kneecaps as earmuffs. i like post-hardcore and emo, but i am not looking for those kinda of vocals when it comes to metal. saying vocals dont matter is just stupid, that means you're ignoring a large part of the music.

and i didnt bash BtBaM, theyre one of my favourite bands, i was just saying that this group forces those kinda melodic parts into their song and i think its lame when they do it.
