Yea, the avatar limit system is a little whack. People you see with over 70x70 avatars are mods and contest winners. If you were to go with a 50x50 pixel one it would probably work, because that was the original avatar size on these forums. Otherwise, make sure the file size itself is within boundaries, although I'm sure you would be able to tell because I think it tells you if that's the case. Otherwise, make a thread in the site forum about it if you noone here can help, or it just doesn't work at all.
