Hey ppl! i've been reading some 'tallica threads and it has come to my attention that in the last few months not liking metallica makes u a "cul" person...what tha hell is that all about anyway??? they go from being the best band in the freakin' universe to the worst sellouts ever in a sec! i don't get, i really don't, i agree when you say that st.anger is a crappy album or even a load of s*** (though i kindda like it) but at least they're trying something new. now don't tell me that load and reload suck cuz they sure don't!!!anyway just an opinion...cya BTW sorry if the english isn't too gud not from around

I think what people are doing is they hear a little bit of metallica and decide they know enough to judge. then they find out that their original bass player died and they went from being speed metal to metal, so then they are just like, "oh those other albums suck, i am a hardcore guy and i only like metallica old stuff"

Metallica needs to get their act back together and introduce more solos into their songs instead of trying to fit into mainstream metal. :thumb:

Metallica are not the greatest band in the world...but they certainly are one of the greatest ever...i cant imagine a world without them...i dont think any specific member of the band himself is beyond excellence...i think the secret behind their excellent music is that they are/were perfect for each other...but alone they are not as great

i love james lyrics, those about alchohol, about drugs, those with religious references, those w/ political references.....they just kick so much a**!st. anger has good lyrics too but very repetitive.the music may be numetal(though i don't think so) but at least he ain't talking about being molsted by his father but it could be worst it could be limp bizkit like lyrics "oh she left me/ oh i hate her/why am i alone?" ahhhhh SUTH UP! but make no mistakes i do like numetal and i do like limp bizkit(their first 2 records)the others just get annoying after a while...so anyway 'tallica lyrics rule \m/
