I wanna see Limp Wrist so bad.
|
I have a freind who won't touch limp wrist due to homosexuality. Pretty retarted in my opinion.
|
Such an amazing band he's missing out.
|
He's really more of a metalcore type of guy though, tough guy drummer :p
|
Heavy Heavy Low Low and the number 12 are commin around here...should i go see em? as well as the Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza, with psyopus? or who ever? YAY OR NAY!?
|
i would say YAY
I like tony Danza alot |
WHAT!? Evan, why did you not tell me that HHLL, T#12, PsyOpus, and TDTDE are comin' here? The #12 was AMAZING last time I saw them.
|
Boardwalk...i think next month...than TDTDE in like september or somthing...
www.boardwalkrocks.com than go to schedual and look threw the pages. But then you dont like the boardwalk so...i dont know why i didnt tell you... but now you know...purple monkey dishwasher. |
Ok, Evan, how did you not catch this one:
7/5/06 From A Second Story Window Cattle Decap Misery Index Animosity Job For A Cowboy |
i saw it...sorta. I didnt think anything of it for some odd reason. I just foiund out who Job for a Cowboy was the other day and thatd be pretty dope to see.
|
I don't like JFAC at all.
|
I do. And Cattle Decap is ill.
Anyone here like Ekkaia? They're like a mix of Circle Takes the Square and Tragedy. Just WOW. |
You guys ever heard Copout?
|
JFAC is whack.
Ekkaia is good, but I only have a 7 song EP by them. I want more. ' Never heard Copout. |
Copout are a band who's members formed Tragedy/HHIG/Deathreat ect. They've got an 80's hardcore feel. Really good.
|
I've never really though JFAC was that horrible, Entombment of a machine is a fairly decent song. Not really one of my favs though.
|
The only good thing about that song is that super high-pitched scream about 30 seconds into the song. That's cool. I like really high-pitch screaming vocals. Destroyer Destroyer has some good vocals.
|
May I say that I saw Fack...I'm Dead a few weeks ago and it was the most intense thing I've ever seen, too bad there was a fatassed grind nut who kept hitting me, forcing me to leave the pit and just stand there enjoying the onslaught being carried out before me. But woh...all of my death/black loving mates hated them but I was amazed. Their singer is insane and the guitar sounds so sweet and crushing.
Wouldn't Pig Destroyer be powerviolence? I hear more punk in them than metal. |
Pig Destroyer is definitely grind.
And F'uck...I'm Dead rule. Did they play "Inject Me With AIDS"? |
Pig Destroyer is definately grind because grind my friend is punk played at hyperspeed, powerviolence is essentially the same idea just much more ****ing punk. Bad definitions but Pig Destroyer is grind.
And lucky bastard that you saw Fuck... I'm Dead. Did they play Shotgun Facelift? |
I just listen to Prowler In The Yard for the first time the other day. Now thats what i call grind! Kinda wish they had a bass on the recording though...
Creepy lyrics! |
Prowler in The Yard is one of the weaker Pig Destroyer albums in my opinion. And yes, the lyrics are creepy, but you can't deny that they are extremely well written.
|
I've always loved pig destroyers lyrics, especially gravedancer.
|
I just found out that we're playing with Verbal Abuse and Annihilation Time. ****ing killer.
|

I love the lyrics so much. The earlier songs when the band was more politically motivated were ****ing dark and paranoid, but very effective. J.R. can write. |

I remember them playing Inject Me With AIDS, Retired21, and they also played Shotgun Facelift. Being right infront of the singer whilst he belched out those awesome, rhythmic growls was amazing. When we were waiting in line he kept walking past us, shame we didn't know it was him. I was a bit disappointed that the guitarist and bassist just stood there, not even bopping their heads. |

WHAT THE FUUUUUUUCCCKKK! YOU LUCKY BASTARD! Holy shit, srsly, that's so fucking awesome! Verbal Abuse are so awesome live. When I saw 'em with Poison Idea, they stole the whole show. It was insane. I haven't gotten to see Annihilation Time live, but they're an awesome band, so I'd imagine that they put on a damn good show. |

My favorites are 38 Counts of Battery, and actually, their most recent Terrifyer. I just think that the music is written much better and the songs flow together more. |
