Whats wrong with kids these days? I can't find another guitar player to throw down some Allman Brothers guitar harmonies with me.
Why play the allmans? that would take talent! I'll just learn some powerchords and join a crap nu-metal or pop punk band. -kids these days Luckily I have some friends who aren't faggots :thumb:. Good luck finding someone miik. |
Luckily, my uncle loves the Allmans and has been playing for like 30 years. But I feel so bad playing with him, because he is so dominate.
My uncle>me>nu metal fags |
well said.
|
yeah its impossible for me to find musicians in MD to jam with who like classic rock and not hard rock.
|

My uncle>me>nu metal fags
Uncles are great. Me and 4 of my uncles are going to see Rush next Sunday :D |
Hard rock can be classic rock. Deep Purple (some), ac/dc, Kiss, Black Sabbath, zeppelin (some). But very few kids like blues. I have a guitarist friend who likes blues though. We were i na band but our drummer moved cities. Now we have no fricking drums.

Maybe if I was in a nu metal band (not really but ya know). I need somebody who can keep a good rythem (not bass, snare, bass, snare) who can do rolls and fills and such. |
I can do that.
And I'm Canadian. |
Living in northwest calgary?
*Cough* You googled it *cough*
 not in a million years. I can name you a handful more if you'd like without googling it. Not that you'd know who they all are. |
In led zeppelin? Bonzo is the only one of them to die...so far *strokes pistol* Robert Plant will be next.

+ Cozy Powell (Rainbow), Mickey Hart (G. Dead)
Hah I put Bill Kreutzmann but forgot Mickey Hart. I meant to have them both on there. |
^you meant to press the correct keys in order to put them on but you messed it up right?. Or possibly they just slipped your mind?
|
Well when I thought of Bill Kreutzmann I thought of Mickey Hart but then I blew it.
Why don't we just agree that they should both be on there. |
sure :)
|
Oh I guess Ringo should be on there. He slipped my mind.
It's hard to have a classic rock list of anything without The Beatles or one of them on it. |
SUREEEEEEEE I WOULDN'TTT
Road Apple Red? Whistle King? that's what I thought! :p Oh top four albums or whatever it was Led Zeppelin (I) The Who - Tommy Pink Floyd - Dark side of the moon (not my favourite but great album and very "important") Cream - Wheels of Fire I'd put it there but know it'd never make it: King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson king Supertramp - crime of the century |
I think I named all of the other canadian bands, lol.
 no, not even close. |
I was kidding. Sheeshers

Agreed they cant name evan name blues greats such as Robert Johnson, Howlin Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, not even Stevie Ray Vaughn. sad sad sad...... :upset: |
...or even have appreciation (sp?) for it. They don't notice that blues playing takes 10 times more skill to play than their crap music.
|
I was kidding. Sheeshers
