All right I need some recs on the most depressing music you've heard. It would help if the lyrics were in the same vein, too. Doesn't really matter the genre.

Recommend me something similar to The Dear Hunter - something rock driven but with a lot of piano or other instruments.

the song "no pity for a coward" was supposedly written after his dad was going to commit suicide, and wimped out, and this song is making fun of him. |

thx
Planning For Burial - Leaving I still don't know all the lyrics, but even with those aside, there's just something about this album that I can't help but feel for. I personally think it's amazing, and I really wish someone would review it here to get the word out. Sound clip on the band's page here: http://enemieslist.net/kvlt/artists/planning-for-burial/ |
yea that's def a good album
|
Downloaded that album once from Slays4 Days. Haven't really listened to it yet.
Anyway, my pc pretty much gave up on me (not a software problem, sadly) so I can't really get on MX very often anymore. But I wanted to ask you guys for some doom metal in the vein of Forest Of Shadows' most aggressive moments. (Not the gay moments with the Ville Valo like clean vox..! I can't listen to that crap.) |
Best Integrity album?
