I like Mastodon. But seeing them with Cursive and Against Me! would be odd. It's such an innapropriate mix of styles.

I think it's kinda cool, but yeah, pretty simplistic. I have low expectations, so I would love it if it was actually good music.

I can't get that to work.

But I don't care what an album cover looks like, and I don't judge the music based off of it. But the first thing it made me think of was ratatat.

I enjoy album covers more and more lately but I don't really expect much from AM! covers.

well their old stuff was really simple. so if the album IS anything like the cover, it should be better? AM covers are kinda cool but usually irrelevant.

i love against me!

all my frioends said the last cd blew but i though ti was pretty good. not as good the first two but still a great cd. i have soem hopes for the new one but i hate butch vig who is the guy producing it. he will take out all the folk/punk style they have and make it monster rock guitars. wich is not something i think of when i thnk about against me.

Ok so... There's a new album out in like two weeks and had it been two years ago we would already have 20 pages with people discussing how excited they are. Times have changed since then. Who's excited?

I am, well kind of. I don't know what to expect really. Searching For A Former Clarity was a huge letdown, but I must admit I liked a few songs.
So far the only thing I've heard from the new album is that "White People For Peace" song, which didn't impress me too much but at the same time it wasn't as bad as Don't Lose Touch was when it came out as a single.

I'm seeing them 3 days before their new record is out, and I really really hope that they'll play a good set.


What are your thoughts about this upcomming album from Against Me! ?

I'll download it when it comes out, but I'm not excited, and I'm not getting my hopes up.

I saw on interpunk that there are two versions, one of them includes a bonus dvd. What is on that dvd, does anybody know that?
