Yeh man laid to rest.

And Bleach blows, its like a crappier version of DragonBall.

'Oh no i cannot beat him.'
'Oh yes you can.'
'Oh yeh actually i can, with these power ups that came from nowhere!'

Moses 04-16-2006 06:39 PM

Autumn Leaves is the definitive melodeath band in my opinion.

I like Bleach, they pretty much explain how and why everything happens. Naruto will return to being my favorite anime in a couple episodes once the fillers end. I read the manga, and the first couple episodes are gonna be amazing.

Arucard 04-16-2006 06:40 PM

They are very good, but of course, i like Arsis better.

Yeh man i know. Seriously, can't wait for Gaara to pwn Akatusuki, then get pwned for saving the Hidden Sand Village.

Dragonball is a fun show/manga :(.

I think the best thing to come out of Japan is Asian Kung-Fu Generation... or Dir En Grey... or the aforementioned Intestine Baalism, one of those three.

For melodic death metal (not including Gothenburg stuff) I'd say my favorite is Dimension Zero.

EDIT: scratch that, Underoath.

I mean... I'm listening to Cries of the Past for the third time today, and I'm pretty sure I've listened to the CD at least once a day for like... two years now.

yeah it is gonna be great i can't wait

I still think it is funny for when I walk around the mall or whatever and see little kids wearing Naruto stuff though.

Arucard 04-16-2006 06:45 PM

Ahh it still hasn't aired in England, and no one can beat my Naruto fanboyism.

Give me a second and i'll proove.

i am the robots 04-16-2006 06:47 PM

Naruto fanboyism is nothing to be proud of :p.

I seriously can't stand that show though.

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-16-2006 06:49 PM

Here I thought he was talking about the actual invention of bleach.

I like it.

circlethedrain 04-16-2006 06:49 PM

well you have to see the japanese version, the dubbing for the U.S version is horrible.

Arucard 04-16-2006 06:51 PM

And here you go, proof that no one pwns me. Yes i know its sad, but i like the design haha.

THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE

I'm out of touch with Anime/Manga nowdays, I haven't payed attention since the summer.

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-16-2006 06:51 PM

Is there such a thing as good voice-over?

Ghost In A Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Samurai Shamploo

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-16-2006 06:53 PM

Joe - Is that permanent?

Arucard 04-16-2006 06:53 PM

Man you are so right about Ghost In The Shell, the voices are class.

I also like the way that Stand Alone Complex is like an anime crime thriller.
Is there such a thing as good voice-over?
lol yeah, I like the voice work on, FLCL, and Hellsing. Can't comment on it too much since i pretty much always watch the Japanese versions lol.

Is that a real tat?

Pretty nice lol.

Im not that big of a fan, though Sharingan contact lenses would own

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-16-2006 06:55 PM

Hey anyone - What do your GoogleAds say? Mine are all about bartending, but I haven't seen Bartender post in ages around here.

Arucard 04-16-2006 06:55 PM

Yes it is, and it hurt like hell.

It was a choice between that and tribal, and i liked taht better.

i am the robots 04-16-2006 06:55 PM

I forgot FLCL, that's good voice acting too... and DBZ!!!! THATZ THE BEST EVAR!1

circlethedrain 04-16-2006 06:57 PM

I never liked DBZ

but i did forget to mention Serial Experiments Lain, the first anime i ever watched.

Deconstruction 04-16-2006 06:58 PM

How come anime has such a big following?

Arucard 04-16-2006 06:58 PM

How come music has such a big following?

Same thing really, anime is very enjoyable to watch.

Good point..I just never really understood anime, i guess.

circlethedrain 04-16-2006 06:59 PM

good question.

I got into it cause im like the biggest nerd ever.

D&D, Magic: the gathering, and video-games ftw

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-16-2006 07:00 PM

I never watched Dragon Ball Z, but man, there was a PS2 game with a DBZ theme...It kicked some serious butt. Last spring break, all I did was eat Otter Pops, play DBZ, and play ping pong. For hours on end. \m/

I dont do any of that.

Arucard 04-16-2006 07:01 PM

I think i played that, and it was good. All fighting games based on anime rock, the Naruto games are pure brilliance.

Heh, we share the same hobbies.

I stopped playing magic a couple months ago though.

For fighting games I'm really big on Street Fighter and Guilty Gear.

For 3D I'm all about DOA.
