Aesop Rock - Float
|
CocoRosie - Noah's Ark
Sounds sort of like Joanna Newsom, if Joanna Newsom used old toys and the like for percussion and didn't play the harp quite so much. |
I'm feelin the new Feist album, and I'm not surprised at all. She's so good.
|
Sounds lame, CocoRosie.
|
Sounds lame, CocoRosie.
Nah. It's cool.
I still don't own a Joanna Newsom album :( |
Any band/artist that uses ToY iNsTrUmEnTs to be tWeE is funny
|
Jawbreaker - 24 Hour Revenge Therapy
Digging this album quite a bit lately. |
I listened to Boys and Girls in America while washing the car. It was a very enjoyable combination.
|
I saw CocoRosie once. They had all these weird videos playing during their songs. Definitely one of the strangest shows I've been to.
|
Bright Eyes - Casadaga
This has really grown on me, I'm beginning to really enjoy it. Maps and Atlases - Trees, Swallows, Houses And this is still terrific. Everyone should check this if they get a chance. |
Slint-Spiderland
Amazon should have sent this album to me by now :(
Explosions in the Sky - The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place Not quite as good as I was expecting, but still a fine album. |
Amazon should have sent this album to me by now :(
Its worth the wait, trust me. Its a fantastic album, but dont expect to be blown away at first listen. |
I'm digging this Avey Tare & Kria Brekkan record, but I don't get it. I read that this album was supposed to be in reverse or something, and this is not. Did the person I downloaded it from flip it around? I kind of want to listen to it in reverse. Is that the way they intended it?
|
Oh yeah, I still need to check that out.
Madlib - Shades of Blue |
Jawbreaker - 24 Hour Revenge Therapy
Digging this album quite a bit lately.
Same here. The copy I downloaded doesn't have the first song though, so I'm going to download it using *gasp* iTunes. |
