I picked out Blow By Blow from my dad's CD's also. |
Woodstock and Magicbus: make sure to pick up "Truth" by Jeff Beck. That's a solid album right there.
|

I grabbed that one too. I like it, but I don't really like Rod Stewart. That's why I prefer the instrumental albums. Although "Beck's Bolero" is a sweet-ass song. |

That's exactly what I think of the album. Rod Stewart can walk into oncoming traffic for all I care. |

 Well put. And I love Santana. His guitar work is just so cool and smooth. I like his newer cd you're talking about, Supernatural, I just don't like his choice of singers on some songs. His guitaring is still ace though. |
Santana is a consistently good guitar player.
NP: Blow By Blow (album) |

i never liked santana. hes a pretty good guitarist though.
|
Santana is pretty good. I can only listen to them in small doses, though.
NP: 2Pac - I Ain't Mad Atcha |
I love the congos in Santana's work.
Jose "Chepito" Areas is the congo master. And he has a HUGE fro. |
Fro = Coolness going way up haha
I doubt anyone can deny Santana's smooth tone every now and then. |
i actually liked his voice with the jeff beck group. if you and woodstock get a chance, pick up some of beck's new albums as well. theyre a bit more electronic and metallic but theyre quality. expecially "who else?" and "you had it coming". psh, you guys and your taking cds from parents. i BOUGHT all my jeff beck. haha. well most. |

What difference would it make if I had taken it from my parents? If it's there, why buy new stuff? |

Again, my parents take stuff from me :(
|
My dad takes some of my stuff sometimes.
|
My Dad bought a 311 Greatest Hits Cd because he liked the song "Amber," I had to explain to him that they always didn't sound like that song, I traded him my Maroon 5 Cd for it so he'd stop complaining.
I took my mom's Paul McCartney and Doobie Brothers Cds but that's all they have that I'd want. My dad has pretty much every Chieftains and Van Morrison Cd ever made...anything Irish. |

I borrow alot of CDs from my dad, but he doesnt notice because he only listens to the burned one i make for him in his truck.
He doesnt have too many good ones anyway...i wish he still had his old record collection though, that wouldve been sweet |

I like Rod Stewart's voice, but his music can get on the 40 year old woman side of things.
