It's being release this month here for some reason.
I don't see what exactly needs to be changed from Europe to England.
So its been released all over Europe but not England?
Guess so.
Replace "Europe" with "the world"

gmoneyguy 04-16-2006 01:22 PM

Hahaha the makers of Guitar Hero hates England.

Jev 04-16-2006 01:25 PM

And i hate them also.
What's the guitar that comes with it an SG or LP?

gmoneyguy 04-16-2006 01:25 PM

An SG, and you get stickers!

Jev 04-16-2006 01:31 PM

WOW.

I love stickers.
What ones are they?

gmoneyguy 04-16-2006 01:34 PM

Bunch of random GH stickers, stars and crap.

Jev 04-16-2006 01:37 PM

Pretty cool
They can go on my "superhero guitar"

gmoneyguy 04-16-2006 01:40 PM

Hhaha

I have friend who ductaped his guitar then cut the head off a cabbage patch doll and put it on his headstock. It is the most demented thing I have seen.

i am the robots 04-16-2006 01:40 PM

Guitar Hero is a kinda fun game.
Guitar Hero is a kinda fun game.
Take out kinda fun and replace it with pretty addictive and you got it right.

i am the robots 04-16-2006 01:44 PM

I never got addicted to it... but then again I had my WoW addiction at the time it came out.

That sounds awesome, minus the duct tape.

I'm thinking off loads of LEDs and a disco ball.

gmoneyguy 04-16-2006 01:46 PM

Those MMORPGs can get pretty addictive

/has flash backs of Diablo II

Glitterati 04-16-2006 01:46 PM

I'd be totally into checking out Guitar Hero, but I don't believe it's for X-Box, which is what I have.

Speaking of X-Box, I'm dying to play The Godfather game. But it's soooo hard to get at my rental place, it's always out :furious:

np: The Who - Baba O' Riley

Jev 04-16-2006 01:48 PM

Why you only renting it?

Steerpike 04-16-2006 02:10 PM

Half-way done with my Film Analysis term paper. Another four or five pages to go.

I'll need to watch Man of Aran again later today and pick out a couple of scenes to showcase in the paper.

I'm still amazed by Robert Flaherty's work. Some of his methods were questionable, but his vision was brilliant. In Man of Aran, he focused the work on the lives of a family living on the Aran Islands off the Irish coast. The most famous scene in the movie is a group of islanders trying to harpoon and bring in a basking shark that's actually larger than their boat.

The truth was that the business of shark hunting had all but died out 50 years prior to the filming of the movie. But Flaherty convinced the islanders to give it a go for the sake of the film and they succeeded in killing that behemoth of a fish and hauling back to shore.

Is it just me, or does anyone else read the Harry Potter thread's title in the Media Centre as "Harry Potter and the final solution"?

Considering I've been working like a dog on this essay all week, it's kind of lodged into my brain for now. I talk about it to get it out of my system

Ah right same here.

I'm frantically trying to find money for GH though.

gmoneyguy 04-16-2006 02:56 PM

Its about $70 in the States, I'm not sure what the equivalent is in pounds.

PinkFreud 04-16-2006 02:59 PM

Oh man. I have to register for classes on tuesday but I need to talk to my advisor about maybe changing my major before then because it'll affect what classes I'll take. And I might be failing a class and I'm freaking out about this stupid registration thing. Damnit. ****. I can't DO anything about it until tomorow. Ugh. And I only have 5 dollars to last me the rest of the year.

And now my cigarettes are flattened! What else could go wrong?

I know what you mean. The best thing for something that's bothering you is to just do something about it, but sometimes you can't and it just drives you crazy. :-\
