Kyle 03-20-2006 03:26 AM

Technically I'm ahead of 6stringer, my second account has 3 posts in this thread! I seriously didn't think I'd be anywhere near the 200 mark, it'skinda depressing...

Zmev 03-20-2006 03:29 AM
I think its more depressing that I'm listening to Nightwish and enjoying it.
I have Nightwish on my Ipod, they are quite cool in moderation..

spelling mistake noted, btw.

It's funny how Iai beats Wanker (notorious 'spam****') and everyone else but still hasn't posted in here in ages.

Kyle 03-20-2006 04:27 AM

haha, I knew JonM would be on top of the 'What I'm listening to now' thread.

br3ad_man 03-20-2006 06:46 AM

I just heard the Fall Out Boy cover of "Love Will Tear Us Apart". I think I'm going to be sick.

sweboy 03-20-2006 07:40 AM

445 posts for the win. That's the number of the beast if I'm not mistaken.

ATM 03-20-2006 10:19 AM

I'm downloading some Against Me! bootleg. I've never heard them before.

JonM 03-20-2006 11:26 AM
I did mushrooms this weekend. It was interesting to say the least.
So did I! I thought it was profoundly wonderful.

Wanker 03-20-2006 11:59 AM

Down with shrooms, up with reefer!

Well, not really up with reefer. Let's keep it on the same level.

If you like good music you'll like Against Me.

That's me. Spamming and whoring, constantly.

I didn't know I was notorious for it though. Hm.
So did I! I thought it was profoundly wonderful.
I might be trying it this weekend.

I liked the time that I had, too. I was really nervous that I would end up having a bad trip, but I did it with a few good friends and cleared my mind of everything beforehand, so it turned out really well. We basically hung out in the park and walked around in the sunshine, and played some nintendo and listened to music. I only got scared when I went on a merrygoround and we went into the woods, which were dark and scary.
I might be trying it this weekend.
I was amazed how something could alter your view of "reality" so much. I There was a point where I thought I had to pee, and I knew that there were things I had to do and I didn't have to do to go pee, but I didnt really know what they were. And everything was so pretty and sounded amazing. And I couldnt ever remember what being "sober" was like. I remember thinking 'this is how its always been, and I've never realized it, and its always going to be this way, and I dont know if I'm okay with it". It definitely made me more appreciative of alot of things though, and I'm glad I did it, at least for the experience.

p.s. Bill Cosby: I am going to over take you in posts. There is no hiding.

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Zappa 03-20-2006 09:57 PM

You're both banned.

Zappa 03-20-2006 10:19 PM

Hah, I've banned a few. Not that many.

I just bought an analog synth on eBay. A Roland Juno-106 at $358. I'm excited, and kind of alarmed both that I won the auction (placing my bid about 40 seconds from the end), and that I so impulsively bought a new instrument. I hope it's something I use a lot.

Zmev 03-20-2006 10:36 PM

I hope you have $358.

How impulsively did you buy it? I hope you didn't see it, place the bid and win. You read the details, info, fine print, yea? Anyway, record some tunes with it and post em. :)

JonM 03-20-2006 10:51 PM

Wrote another song today. We're really moving quickly.

Heh, nah it wasn't THAT impulsive. I've been watching this particular auction for a couple days, and have been researching the instrument and watching auctions for price for a couple months, I suppose.

It's just that I've never played one, or any analog synth for that matter, so I might not like it all that much.

I've always wanted one, but I don't really have the cash to spend. Going off to college soon + current expenses. The only thing I've really had close to that is just an online mixing program, and I usually get frustrated/confused with those. So...in summation, if you don't dig it, send it on over to me.

Little Man being Erased 03-21-2006 12:12 AM

I just made a very brief stop in R&M and without even entering a single thread remembered why I never go in there.
