Gastr Del Sol - Serpentine Similar

The Veils - Nux Vomica
Daft Punk - Alive 2007 Mavis Staples - We'll Never Turn Back I heard the intro to "Calliope!" on youtube one day and decided to order Nux Vomica just about straight away. It's pretty good so far (admittedly only a week or so into listening to it), although after the title track I always seem to lose interest, so the last couple of songs haven't really made an impression yet. Alive 2007 is just great. I bought the Mavis Staples album just on a recommendation, and haven't yet been able to listen to it properly to find out whether it was worth it. Listening to the first couple of songs sounds like it could be promising, though. |
Calibretto / Mercury Radio Theater - All Of These Things Do Not Belong
Reminds me of working in a photo darkroom the summer after my sophomore year. |
I'm making a mix of rare groove tunes and proto-stoner rock. Good times.

Must include Saint Vitus and Reverend Bizarre.

And I agree about the last couple tracks - it does seem to taper off a little. |
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to samariah again.
