I'm enjoying it. It has a pretty cool clumsy/twee feel to it which I usually like quite a lot.

What do you think? If you've heard it, that is.

Thom Yorke - The Eraser

Really hit or miss this is.

I think it's one of the worst albums I've ever listened to. My shitty review is on the site if you want to read why.

Kyle 04-03-2007 01:19 PM

Ah ok, I understand what you're saying in the review but I disagree for the most part. As I said earlier, I'm a big fan of overly-twee and clumsy music and a lot of the local scene where I live is based on this. We have a band in Cardiff called 'Little My' who are like an even more exaggerated version of AIH.

http://www.myspace.com/tinylittlemy - You'll hate it, haha.

Taxi Driver - OST
Belle & Sebastian - If You're Feeling Sinister

HelloGoodbye "Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!"

I'm a sucker for most love songs, and their music is really refreshing.

His Hero Is Gone - Monuments To Thieves

Who holds the gun to your head and makes you lick the boot of the boss who would rather kick in your ****ing teeth than shed a tear of sympathy?

And we keep on licking with dreams of "promotion and a career". they keep on kicking.

Boilermaker 04-03-2007 03:18 PM

Pixies - Doolittle
Weezer - Pinkerton

Probibly my two favorite albums of all time. Haven't listened to them in a while though.

Robert Crumb 04-03-2007 07:25 PM

The Beatles. The Rolling Stones. You know.

The Great Decay 04-03-2007 08:13 PM

I've been digging the new bright eyes album recently. There are a couple of solid tracks on there.

Eliminator 04-03-2007 08:14 PM

Jawbreaker - Dear You

Zebra 04-03-2007 08:23 PM

Bitches Brew

Some killer stuff on here. "Miles Runs Down the Voodoo" is some of his best work.

The Great Decay 04-03-2007 08:23 PM

How does Dear You compare with 24 Hour Revenge Therapy?

Eliminator 04-03-2007 08:31 PM

No clue, this is the first Jawbreaker album I've heard.

The Great Decay 04-03-2007 08:31 PM

In that case, 24 Hour Revenge Therapy is brilliant and you should get it immediately.

"Sasong" is one of my favorite songs from this year. The rest I'm kinda ambivalent about but it's mostly good.

Through the the Stones and Beatles for now, got through some Arthur Russell this evening, listening to Los Hermanos - Ventura at the moment.
