I can never pick best band/album/song
|
Badmoon are you a fan of Hot Rize?
|
I know this has been said before, but can anyone recommend, say, three Grateful Dead songs? I'm trying to get into them.
Sorry then. Don't smile at me *shakes fist*
*steals your avatar for later* |
box of rain is probably the first song of theirs that I really loved.
|
friend of the devil is very popular and so was truckin. I must say if you can get Good lovin from their Europe 72 album though you should really listen to it, one of the best songs I've ever heard.
|
yeah Box of Rain, Sugar Magnolia, and Truckin' or Casey Jones, if you want something more psychedelic then try The Golden Road (to Unlimited Devotion).
|
Is anyone else a David Bowie fan? Because I'd think he's classic rock.
box of rain is probably the first song of theirs that I really loved.
Cool, thanks. |
Why?
I don't know, it was just....surprising. |

I love Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, but that's the only album of hi I've heard. |

Cool, thanks.
No problem, he is classic rock. I like the stuff of his I've heard, but that's not much. Where abouts are you Canadian guy? |
Anyone like Johnny Winter? Very underrated blues rock artist.
|
Oh yeah.

I got to see him live, he was seated in a chair and then appeared to die, but then his fingers started working the guitar and it was unbleiveable. My mom who is a nurse also gave him a colonoscapy, nice little sidenote. |

*steals your avatar for later*
Check out... "Sugar Magnolia" "Friend of the Devil" "Ramble on Rose" and I'll be posting "Eyes of the World" in the forced listening thread in a few minutes.
Badmoon are you a fan of Hot Rize?
Sounds familar, but I haven't heard anything. |
That's awesome, man. My dad got to see him live and said he puts on a hell of a show.
Heh yeah it was odd, he was all old and plopped down in his chair then he got his guitar and everyone was in awe. Has anyone here ever listened to or heard of Jeff Lynne's Armchair Theatre? It's one of my favorite Cds, it's perfect. That man is a genius. |
