2TB hard drive! That's over 2000GB. Do you have any idea how awesome that would be? I wouldn't have to delete a thing! I'd just upgrade to 2TB hard drive, leave the rest default (Maybe the wireless mouse and keyboard... and the HD screen).
It's not really a 2TB hard drive so much as it is 4 500gb hard drives.

It also doubles the cost of the computer.

Plus, it's a mac. Macs suck.

Dead Star 08-07-2006 09:39 PM

My mate tried to make me watch the movie, I refused.

AZNMan#2 08-07-2006 09:40 PM

Actually, that mac looks pretty nice besides the cruddy video cards.

How much does that run for fully tricked out?

J: Haha, I think I got that book for free, and I was bored, so I was like what the heck. And I was in 6th grade and I had friends that D&D'd.

edit: wait, what is this new fx4500?

Most expensive I added up was £12,679.04.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 08-07-2006 09:43 PM
I read the D&D book based on* the movie, and I have a really old D&D rule book.

Never played it though.
Fix'd.

I catch everyone's mistakes I'm just so cool.

;)

J: Wow, that's too much just for that. Even though that'd be amazingly sweet.

cobert 08-07-2006 09:47 PM
Dungeons and Dragons confuses the hell out of me.
D&D has the most retarded and bogged down play system out of any tabletop RPG or strategy game. They make it rediculously difficult to see if you can, for instance, climb a rope. Theres a lot of systems out there that make it simple by saying you decide what your character is good at, not rules and numbers. That way, you can be just as powerful or just as weak as you want.

I just took another test that said if I was in Germany during the 30's, I would not have been a Nazi and I probably wouldve just left the country.
Brian's the only one who can do that and still be funny.
I wasn't trying to be funny.

Justin: O rly?

Cob: Yeah, its pretty lame.

Dead Star 08-07-2006 09:47 PM

Thats with two 30" HD monitors and stuff though.
I wasn't trying to be funny.

Justin: O rly?
ya rly

I like the video game RPGs better. Easier and probably more fun. No drawing involved either. :)

J: Haha yeah. Those 30"s from Dell are nice, but I wouldn't need 2.

Those are around $2000 or more I think too.

But you can't make a grammatical error in a post correcting someone's grammatical error unless you're trying to be funny...

Dead Star 08-07-2006 09:51 PM

Theres a lot of ther stuff I'd never use on it too.

Cheapest is still £1,600 though.

Haha, with 4 cores and up to 16 GB of RAM, it must be worth it.

Cob: Urrite. You don't have to try and find the dice when they roll of the table, and I'm lazy. :)
Because youre impatient and cant be bothered to sit down and roll a few die, amirite?
The one time I played risk in real life, we end up having to do a 30 soldiers/40 soldiers battle.

It took 10 minutes for that one move.

Dead Star 08-07-2006 09:55 PM

Thats without that, its only dualcore you get in the base model.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 08-07-2006 09:56 PM

Don't tell me we're talking about Risk again.

Ah, well still this thing has some great potential.

If only you could run 2x quadro fx's on that, that'd be so much better. :)

Risk is fun.

Jom: lmao

Chilly-Bean-Bop 08-07-2006 09:57 PM

Jom: :(

Okay, okay.

I'm diggin' the avatar. That's a suprisingly good show.

It's great how they have a funny black character who's humor isn't derived from the fact that he's black.

Plus James Roday is a heart-throb. Amiright, Chelsea?
The one time I played risk in real life, we end up having to do a 30 soldiers/40 soldiers battle.

Easiest way to do that is to do one battle where for every troop that would be normally lost, you take away 5.

AZNMan#2 08-07-2006 10:01 PM
I have no idea what you just said.
If they ran 2 of the:
NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 with 512MB of GDDR3 SDRAM, two dual-link DVI ports and one stereo 3D port
in SLi, that'd be awesome.

The thing only has 300W for the vid cards, so I guess it's not enough power or something, because it definately has the slots.

brb piano

lmao@Jon/Jamie

Haha. Yeah, he plays the whiny bitch role well. "Why does the cat get to ride shotgun?"

Spencer's the guy with all the memorable one-liners, though. Hahaha.

It's probably my second-favorite show behind 24. But if 24 starts to suck next season with more implausible events (like Jack going to the moon or something), then I'll lose faith in 24 being awesome.

Don't get me wrong - Jack Bauer is the man. I just wish the stuff he does in "real-time" is actually plausible.

formofshark 08-07-2006 10:03 PM

ive seen 2 episodes of 24, they were both pretty tight son

Dead Star 08-07-2006 10:05 PM

I'm off to bed guys, I'll be sure to tell you my exam results tomorrow.

Night you sexy people.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 08-07-2006 10:06 PM

NIGHT JAMIE!

I'm off to bed too, school mehh.

edit: omfgz your postount is a palindrome :eek:

Jom 08-07-2006 10:11 PM

Hey sexies, if you want to get a taste of Psych, they're replaying last Friday's episode on USA right now.

Kif 08-07-2006 10:18 PM

They killed Tony Almeida. 24 better make something magic happen next season, preferably making it much more personal to Jack instead of "Oshi, another terrorist attack, call Bauer. He's already there? Perfect!"

Monk shares a lot of the same charm as psyche. It's pretty much the same show, but with an ugly (but jewishly funny) main guy, and a hot blonde sidekick.

Good show.

$20 says the new season will have Zombie terrorists.
