Jam2Me 02-19-2005 04:41 PM
Dicky Betts Band, March 10th, Cleveland House of Blues...who else is pumped for me who gets to see them. I was deprived of his greatness when I saw ABB, so this will make up for it. I wonder if he will do any ABB songs like Blue Sky or Ramblin man?
He was terrible at the Grammys, he did Ramblin' Man...either his guitar was out of tune or he forgot how to play it.

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 02-19-2005 04:50 PM

Jam2Me: Can you send me the Wilburys stuff now?

PinkFreud 02-19-2005 04:57 PM

The title track off of that album was catchy enough to make me lose about 5 hours of sleep once, just sitting awake humming it. I hate that song with a passion

Hemispheres is great, one of my favourite Prog albums

PinkFreud 02-19-2005 06:49 PM

i turn elsewhere for prog, usually king crimson or yes. and now theres a king crimson thread. mayhap i will go there now.

Walrus Gumboot 02-19-2005 06:55 PM

Mmm Yes. They were good. I think they must have been really popular back in the 70's, but they have slipped under the radar lately

Syncratic 02-19-2005 07:32 PM

Has anyone here heard 'Traffic Jam' by Stevie Ray Vaughn and Carlos Santana? It's supposed to be really rare. It's a great jam, and I was wondering if anyone heard it and if it is, in fact, rare.

Badmoon 02-19-2005 07:38 PM

He's my favorite drummer baby! :thumb:
