The God That Never Was > LAEFS

rasputin 01-17-2009 10:12 AM

masscows 01-17-2009 10:13 AM
The God That Never Was > LAEFS
nah it's good but it's too streamlined imo

The Feeding 01-17-2009 10:55 AM

jesus loves blast beats
The God That Never Was > LAEFS
whaaaaaaaaat

I still have not listened to Dark Recollections. Only Carnage song I've heard is the first bonus track in Like an Ever Flowing Stream, Deathevocation. And that song is extremely elite.

Deth 01-17-2009 11:10 AM

Dark Recollections features unholy riffs from beyond the grave^10.

Six Foot Revolver 01-17-2009 11:50 AM

guys, are intestine baalism's stuff other than ultimate instinct worth checking out?

Txus 01-17-2009 12:03 PM

Yep, check out Banquet first!

and

LAEFS >>>TGTNW

and Carnage does rule.

and obnoxiously loud drumming for SATAN

Nostalgia 01-17-2009 01:17 PM

lol how is the drumming obnoxious? the tone of the snare is perfect.

xtal 01-17-2009 01:21 PM
the tone of the snare is perfect.
it gets me all hot and bothered

Nostalgia 01-17-2009 01:35 PM

I think it's just a little too satanic for you.

Angmar 01-17-2009 02:01 PM

Nick is vry picky about his drums!

xtal 01-17-2009 02:03 PM

especially snares

Angmar 01-17-2009 02:04 PM

idk why you'd be bothered by the drumming on Dark Recollections tbh.

Nostalgia 01-17-2009 02:48 PM

Yeah the drumming is crushing sorry it's not like The Faceless of wittr.

everything they've released is good. everything.

Moon Flavor 01-17-2009 07:28 PM

intestine baalism is SO good the way they make those AWESOME sick riffs that are mad interesting and the great vocals and the song structures are just so incredible i don't know what i would have done if everybody hadn't masturbated over them i might have never heard of them and my life would feel empty now

hismajestythepope 01-17-2009 07:28 PM

band is ****ing solid homey

Moon Flavor 01-17-2009 07:32 PM

solid in the same way that cannibal corpse is solid

and by that i mean boring death metal that relies on tried-and-true riffery that's been done before a bajillion times

hismajestythepope 01-17-2009 07:34 PM

cannibal corpse and intestine baalism are both mad solid but OKAY DAAAAWWWG

rasputin 01-17-2009 07:46 PM

Tell us more oh wise death metal acolyte.

Moon Flavor 01-17-2009 08:34 PM

rasputin&angmar: I don't claim to know anything about death metal. I don't see what being a death metal guru has to do with this. In my opinion Intestine Baalism is boring and brings absolutely nothing new to the the table and as such I treat them as I would any of the other million average death metal bands

Deth 01-17-2009 10:29 PM

I like Intestine Baalism quite a bit, but I personally wouldn't put them in my top tier of DM bands.
