'The Devil Made Him Do It' was awesome, and 'He Said She Said' kicks ***.

Album's pretty good as deathcore goes.

I'm afraid while it may push the limit of how good the genre can get, it's still trapped by the problems inherent to 'deathcore.'

What their ST demonstrates is tons of potential. If they've grown in a new direction, their **** could stomp colon.

Ok I'm revising my prior statement, "Cursed" pretty much does everything right that can be done as deathcore.

by which I mean, they've already stomped some colon. hopefully the new stuff they put out is good

Honestly KsE played a big role in getting me into more extreme types of music. Alive Or Just Breathing still rules IMO.

As Daylight Dies, while generic, is a very solid metalcore album.

Enough so that it probably got a lot of people closer to the genre than they would have ever gotten otherwise

so - no hatin' on my part. Killswitch is legit.

i liked kse until as daylight dies came out

they were one of my favorite bands

that album made me hate them

Yep. I don't listen to them anymore, but they are a good in between band. Alive or Just Breathing and self titled were pretty good.

Yeah, those two and The End Of Heartache ruled when I was first getting into metalcore.

i used to dislike screaming/growling and **** until aild's first album. then the floodgates opened and my musical interests moved beyond 80s thrash.

I used to like Dead Man in Reno a lot, haha. Thank god taste change.

DMIR is pretty damn awesome tbh. I said it before and I'll say it again, that band is so tight and catchy that it's tasty.

I'm still not sick of them, but I also don't listen to them nearly as much as I used to.... I think it has something to do with finding Embrace The End, Prayer For Cleansing, and Rifles At Recess.

Their ST still has some of my favorite album art ever.

**** I used to like Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed before I knew what metal was.

I'd never ever listen to em now, but they were my first forays into harder music.

anyway I guess it's metalcore? I've been listening to Fellsilent lately, it's pretty heavy.

Regardless, Matt Samson's vocals are seriously ****ing incredible, and everyone knows I care too much about vocals.

I much prefer It Prevails over Prayer for Cleansing.
