|
Flaming Lips - Clouds Taste Metallic
Their best 90's album
Soft Bulletin is my favorite, but that's probably second, followed by Hit to Death. I still need Priest Driven Ambulance though. |
To be fair, Brian Viglione (Dresden Dolls) is an absolutely amazing drummer.
Perfect Fit and Half Jack are my favorite songs. If you watch the Live from Paradise DVD I think you get a whole new perspective of the band. |
they ruined two headed boy
they'll never be good |
Augustus Pablo - King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown
I was pretty let down by this. I hoped to hear wayyy more melodica, and way more dub action. DNA - DNA on DNA not bad, really. Charles Bukowski - 70 Minutes in Hell nothing like Bukowski reading Bukowski. |
yo did you ever get that stuff i sent
|
Hot Snakes - Suicide Invoice
The Hold Steady - Boys and Girls In America Still not sure what I think about the latter. |
its too same-ish and it falls into the bad indie album were everything is alright and there is no stand out tracks.
:/ |

Werd
they ruined two headed boy
Right before they played that live they showed the CD and I cheered. Alone. :o |

:/
Party Pit and Southtown Girls are definate stand-out tracks in my opinion. |
first two tracks are standouts and the rest are kind of crap. "Chips Ahoy" is fun as hell, and there is nothing better to sing along with really loud in the car with your bois.
Missy Elliott - Respect M.E. Susumu Yokota - Sakura |
Low - The Great Destroyer
Good stuff. |
The Hives - Barely Legal
got this from the library, as well as a Nick Drake box set and a few other albums |
Stooges - The Weirdness
It's bad but not as bad as people have been making out |
Low - The Great Destroyer
Good stuff.
have you heard Drums and Guns yet? what a good album |
Stooges - The Weirdness
It's bad but not as bad as people have been making out
I agree with this. Before work I was diggin' these 90 Day Men - Panda Park Stereolab - Emperor Tomato Ketchup Comets on fire - Blue Cathedral and now Suicidal Tendencies - s/t this album ****ing rules so hard. I think I'm gonna go back and listen to all my old punk and hardcore albums this month, just for the nostalgia trip before I turn 18. Cuz man, the memories! (/ gay cliche) |
Hawkwind - Space Ritual
|
have you heard Drums and Guns yet? what a good album
The Great Destroyer is the first Low I've heard. I'm interested in hearing more now though. |
they ruined two headed boy
they'll never be good
"Two Headed Boy" sucks, I bet their version is an improvement. |
lol

Frank Zappa - Make a Jazz Noise Here
Saccharine Trust- The Great One is Dead |
Air - Talkie Walkie
|
Throbbing Gristle - 20 Jazz Funk Greats
|
Method Man - Tical
Chimaira - Pass Out Of Existence Slightly weird combination of records but oh well. |
Frank Zappa - Apostrophe
One of his stronger pop albums. It's not as good as Overnite-Sensation but it has its moments. |
Various - Anthology of American Folk Music
|
Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables
