My girlfriend loves Avenged Sevenfold.
Generally, she has a good taste in music.
She loves August Burns Red, Botch, Between the Buried and Me, Dillinger Escape Plan, and then out of nowhere she tells me she loves that band.

First off, are they even metalcore?
From what I've heard, they're awful.
Am I right on that assumption?

first two albums are really cheesy poppy metalcore

what about the second two?
