I said other thigns for a reason.
Yeah, but you said slavery as if it caused the war.

RouteOne 09-14-2005 09:14 PM
Yeah, and you're argument was that people wear the Confederate Flag as pride for the south....
It is for pride, but then I said that they basically wear it because they think it's cool.

RouteOne 09-14-2005 09:14 PM

Guys guys guys, I think we can all agree black people steal ipods.

_Tyler 09-14-2005 09:14 PM
There isn't anything to know. I learned all the provinces and everything once. They have a boring history.
pretty much

blah blah blah building a railroad
blah blah blah women getting the vote
blah blah blah we participated in world war 2!

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:16 PM

And for the record, Reiner, I'm not rich...especially now :(

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:17 PM

Haha, Shane you have you're own car. You're more well off than a lot of the country considering a lot of adults can't afford their own cars. I wouldn't have ever called you rich, but deffinently well off.

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:18 PM
Haha, Shane you have you're own car. You're more well off than a lot of the country considering a lot of adults can't afford their own cars.
Haha, I never said I was poor. But I'm sure as hell not rich in southern California when we only have $70,000 coming in.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:20 PM

Still double the national average for household incomes.

95% of the people who use the Confederate Flag aren't just doing it because they have pride in the Confederacy. Why would they? The Confederacy existed 100 years before they were even born.

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:21 PM

D'amn, I didn't know that.

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:21 PM

My dad is doing pretty good for a dude who never went to college.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:22 PM

Haha, is 70,000 just you're Dad's income? or joint with you're Mom's (I assume she works)?

_Tyler 09-14-2005 09:23 PM

What does he do?

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:23 PM

Just my dad's. My mom's is like $40,000 and I don't know how much she's going to give us.

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:24 PM
What does he do?
Don't really know. He works in human resources ar Brodcom.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:26 PM

So he's 'Bob from human reasources'?

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:27 PM

I guess so. He works with peoples' resumes and enters them into databases and s'hit like that.

40 oz 2 freedom 09-14-2005 09:28 PM

My dad was making about $110,000(before taxes) a year but he lost his major contract and it reduced it to like $40,000, and my mom's income is like $10,000(she works at a non-profit nature center). It just happened recently, definitely sucks.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:30 PM

That sucks. Still $50,000 isn't bad considering you're in Texas and I bet things are a lot cheaper there than out on the coasts.

Stuff is insanely expensive around here.

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:30 PM

Property values are a bitch here, especially if you rent like us. You're putting all of this money into something that isn't going to benefit you whatsoever in the end.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:32 PM

Dude, my town is insane with property values. A townhouse here is $600,000. Little capes with like 4 rooms are like $500,000+. My family's old realitor made like millions the past 10 years.

Property values are rediculous in the hill country. It's not at all a cheap place to live.

Texas isn't a poor state with cheap things.

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:34 PM

This house we're leasing has 4 bedrooms and is nearly 2,000 square feet. There's no front yard, no drive way, and the backyard extends like 6 or 7 feet past the back door. We pay $2,600 a month and the house itself is worth a little over a million dollars.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:34 PM

I figured Texas had cheap things because no one lives there in mass locations like the coasts (ex: cali, Ny, nj).
Property values are rediculous in the hill country. It's not at all a cheap place to live.

Texas isn't a poor state with cheap things.
Uhh, Dallas was cheap as f'uck. We bought our house for $75,000. You can still get a huge 2,500 square foot house with 4 bedrooms and gameroom for $100,000.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:36 PM

$75,000 couldn't even buy you a half of a condo here.

I dunno about Dallas, but San Antonio is expensive, and hill country property values have like quadrupled in the past couple of years.

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:39 PM
$75,000 couldn't even buy you a half of a condo here.
Exatcly. The only drawback with Texas is property tax...but if you look at it, 20% tax on a 100,000 dollar house isn't that much more than 7% on an 800,000 dollar one.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:41 PM

20% on 100,000 = 20,000
7% on 800,000 = 56,000

But if you can afford 800G's, I'm sure 56G's isn't a big deal.

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:43 PM

Yeah, I thought 20% on 100,000 would be less...but I wasn't sure and I suck at math so I figured I was wrong anyways.

I'm complaining about prices in Orange County...yet I'm planning on moving to San Francisco where a two bedroom apartment downtown is no less than $1600 a month.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-14-2005 09:57 PM

Southern California is really expensive. My house was bought at about 450,000 it has 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, and the regular stuff. But My dad remodeled some stuff so now its probrally worth $650,000. I want to be a real estate agent when I get older. Lots of money can be made.

Johnny EPHC 09-14-2005 10:13 PM

Wow, my friend and I almost got our asses beat by some nazi skins tonight. ****ed up evening.

shane italian 09-14-2005 10:13 PM

I went to Tall Mouse tonight and bought sticky tack.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-14-2005 10:13 PM

What happened?

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-14-2005 10:17 PM

This weekend I'm gonna get some of my friends to help me toilet paper this fat girl's house. Then I'm gonna write "FATASS" with mustard on her sidewalk. Perfect revenge.

shane italian 09-14-2005 10:22 PM

Hahaha, all over a deleted myspace account?

This weekend I will be seeing Final Fight and Stick To Your Guns, then going to the pool all night. Then I'll go see Bloody Sunday and Adora the next day.

40 oz 2 freedom 09-14-2005 10:22 PM

Write it in butter.

40 oz 2 freedom 09-14-2005 10:23 PM

I just smoked 3 bowls.

shane italian 09-14-2005 10:24 PM

But if you really wanna make the revenge better, write FATASS in mustard then leave a hotdog in a bun next to it.
