BludgeonySteve 02-18-2005 03:52 PM

jpj 02-18-2005 03:53 PM

Nah it's ok,
My computer is pretty darn slow so, yeah, but thanks.
Rush - 2112

Ah Rush, My favourite band of the moment, that's pretty hardcore getting 2112 as one of your first Rush albums, considering it's very Proggy, but good on you. If you get another one next get Hemispheres :-*

Walrus Gumboot 02-18-2005 03:56 PM

What six string might that be JPJ?

Just stay. You shouldn't even consider leaving.

You say that like there was a possibility you weren't going to buy a guitar with 6 strings.

Every so often I touch a chord and get nailed with a barrage of "This place will be a better place without you" posts and I figure eventually you are gonna have to put your money where your mouth is.

I've argued my case many times, and even though I tend to be positive or at least neutral, people hone in on the negative posts here.

jpj 02-18-2005 04:57 PM
You say that like there was a possibility you weren't going to buy a guitar with 6 strings.
I play bass, so there is a possibility of me buying a guitar without 6 strings.

And it's a Cort Curbow, Walrus Gumboot.

Badmoon 02-18-2005 04:58 PM

The fact that you play bass isn't completely known.

i've beend saving for money toward my drum set, but i can't help it and i go out and spend all my money on cd's, im not good with saving money. :upset:

unclebobscircus 02-18-2005 05:16 PM

I've had $200 since Christmas, it's sooo hard not spending it... I wanna get a Wolfgang or something.

Distant Echoes 02-18-2005 05:38 PM

Im really saving for a new guitar, preferably SG, and maybe an updated drumset.

Id post some sweet thing that just recently happened, but itd take too long too explain, be about 20 post out of date, and lose everybodies interest.

But until i get a huge hefty payday, Im gonna get some pedals for my guitar - a dunlop Univibe and a Boss DD-3 delay.

thickasabrick 02-18-2005 05:42 PM

I think I might buy a good Fender Strat later in the year, maybe next year I'm not sure. Depends if I find one I like.

I just bought the Blonde on Blonde record, it was in such perfect condition I just couldn't pass it up. And the guy working there gave me five bucks off and payed the taxes because I go there so often.

I've got a question for you guys about Dylan. What do you prefer, his songs/albums that are mainly just him, his guitar, and his harmonica (like Freewheelin), or his songs/albums where he plays with a full band?

edit- although those damn telecasters have been catching my eye lately too.

Walrus Gumboot 02-18-2005 05:47 PM

I like the Greatest hits Vol. I era Dylan the most

The albums he did with a full band were far more interesting than his earlier albums, I've found, even though both eras were good.

Against Miik! 02-18-2005 07:03 PM

Just him is better. I haven't listened to a lot of his stuff with the band.

Badmoon 02-18-2005 08:04 PM

I'm reviewing Sweetheart of the Rodeo :)

Jam2Me 02-18-2005 08:27 PM

Gram Parsons is a demi-god.
