ive had two 'friends' (use the term loosely) die. both were ODs go figure, so idk its hard for me to feel sorry for them, even though it may not have been on purpose. any death sucks, but in reality they killed themselves so idk the heartless sociopathic part of me is unable to feel sorry for them.

that's the kind of situation where i'd probably think they 'died' before the addiction. idk, never experienced it so i can't really say how i'd feel.

this is foreign enough to me. i've never really had a friend die, let alone someone i used to see every single day. he lived in my building, i saw him literally every day for almost a decade. i hadn't talked to him in a long time, probably a year or two, and i hadn't seen him in much longer, but the fact that he's actually gone now (and that i dont know what happened) is a really awful feeling.

I'd feel sorry for them. It's not like they died from their own stupidity. I've had a friend die via suicide from extreme depression (obv) and I felt pretty bad about it. Other friend died in Iraq two weeks after getting deployed, so yeah that one was pretty bad.

i had an ex-very serious girlfriend kill herself a year and a half ago over a bunch of **** some of which involved me.

totally different than a family member dying its weird.

ive known a bunch of people who killed themselves/died. pretty horrible stuff.

everyone i know has killed themselves

i learned a lot from those experiences, like how to peel an orange.
