He doesn't mix metal and dance. I'm not sure what sort of music it is that he makes (I'm useless with genres when it comes to dance-techno-hiphop music), but it's based a lot around samples and turntables, I think. Not mindless repetitiveness like a lot of similar artists. [url=http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=167616&page=1]Here[/url]'s the thread that first got me into him.

If you want metal and dance/techno, you could try Alec Empire's solo stuff.

Well I'm not into much of that kinda music either (much prefer metal, though I like some of most genres), but I like DJ Shadow, though I've only got one album (Endtroducing). Download a few tracks before you buy.
