the guy brought it on himself anyway, he could have broken the kids neck instead of shooting him. or he could have slashed his own throat with glass from the car window, or assaulted one of the officers and been shot down. kind of unrealistic

Minimal sets and few actors aren't a bother to me (I enjoyed Elevator Movie, which is about as minimal as it gets). Everything i've seen praised about Bug in terms of atmosphere and dramatic acting came off as incredibly silly to me. I could see what it was trying to get at, I just can't see what other people who liked it in a non-ironic way see in it.

I haven't seen Timecrimes, I could see that being the case though. I watched an awesome spanish film called In A Glass Cage the other night, probably one of the best i've seen in a while. If you haven't seen that look it up.
