why do people say old skramz > new skramz. I am guessing you are speaking of completely different genres. e.g. Circle Takes the Square's experimental screamo, or Envy's epic screamo has nothing to do with the Heroin/Antioch Arrow influenced bands like Swing Kids and Indian Summer and so on.

but my point is that there are newer screamo bands that follow the Heroin school as well. if you are comparing these to "old screamo", that's all good. but comparing I Would Set Myself on Fire for You and all these other experimental screamo guys to old screamo is just ludicrous.

Yeah, they are pretty damn good. As stated by people before, the split with pg. 99 is elite as ****.
