Why do people always write their email addresses out like that on forums and myspaces and such? Does it deter bots or something similar?
Keeps it from being collected by bots and being easily clickable by spammers. Plus it looks cool.

About the dude who said SFFAC is better than RAR. Somedays I agree, somedays I don't. Depends what type of music I'm in the mood for.

TakeWarning 11-24-2006 11:38 AM

No matter what type of music I'm in for, it's RAR. Some of the songs on SFAFC are just so remarkably mediocre.

Nick I hear the only type of music you listen to anymore is Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

DaveToopes 11-25-2006 12:40 AM

That is a videogame, not music.

Don't front, Kav. You're a murderer after all.

Flagjacket 11-25-2006 12:47 AM

We went over the plan several times using Vice City multiplayer as a simulator.

No I jsut heard that all you do now is play GTA and not even listen to music. Someone who visits PJ regularly told me.

DaveToopes 11-25-2006 02:27 PM

Don't judge Nack, Kaven.

I'm not! I seriously recall someone saying it!

DaveToopes 11-26-2006 12:17 AM

I was questioning your 'tude, mister.

Twin Human Highway Flares 11-26-2006 08:33 PM

Has anyone transcribed the lyrics to Untitled 2? I transcribed most of them, but I was wondering if anyone figured them all out. So far I have:

No it doesn't hurt
Everything just is and that's how it's gonna be
There was a part of you born at fifteen, now it's dead at twenty
.... with the people we used to be
You know we never needed high school
Together we we were greater than ...
We'd say **** you
I don't need anything you have to offer
As long as we have each other
...unstoppable

Now we've made these choices together
I've got the bad tattoos to prove it
Scarred into my arms
These are the stakes this is the score
... of victory
The story of how we grew apart
Now I, I'd take a bullet, I'd spend the night in jail
... leaving the town tonight
...
I'm so sorry, if I could change anything
I'd bring us back here again
But I know I'm not coming back here again.

AIRIC 11-26-2006 08:43 PM

No it
Doesn't hurt,
Everything just is and that's just how it's gunna be.
There was a party born at 15,
Now it's dead at 20,
Gone with all those friends,
Gone with the people we used to be.
You know we
Never needed highschool,
Together we agreed that when asked,
We'd say "**** you, I don't need anything you have to offer,
As long as we have eachother."
(Felt like we were unstoppable)

Now we've
Made these choices together
Got the bad tatooes to prove it
Shot into my arms these are mistakes
This is the scar
And these are the stories of victory
The story of how we grew apart
Now I
I'd take a bullet
Or I'd spend the night in jail
(Quitting a job
Leaving the town tonight)
But still I'd say I'm so sorry
and if I could change anything
I'd bring us back here again
I know we're not comin' back here again

These aren't mine but I think you have the 15/20 part right and mine is wrong.

It's not "all I do". It's what I do in my free-time to relax from school.

DaveToopes 11-27-2006 05:50 PM

Yeah Kevin nack goes to COLLEGE you ignoramus!

Flagjacket 11-27-2006 06:58 PM

Oh well that's cool then. What radios taiton do you listen to on San andreas? if I could I'd put VCPR in the game.

Brain Toad 11-27-2006 07:34 PM

I used to listen to K-DST, Radio X and the country station, but they got boring, went to user tracks for awhile, then just turned off the radio all together.

DaveToopes 11-27-2006 07:37 PM

Do you listen to music while you play it then? That's what I used to do with Warcraft III is just mute the game volume and play some Against Me! (need to make this relevant somehow..).

Brain Toad 11-27-2006 07:53 PM

Nah, if I run winamp it takes up too much memory and I lag a lot (my computer is crap). Sometimes I put a record or CD in my stereo though.

I don't think AM! wouldn't be appropriate listening for GTA

New Against Me! Album out July 10th.

Track List:
01. New Wave
02. Up The Cuts
03. Thrash Unreal
04. White People For Peace
05. Stop
06. Borne On The FM Waves
07. Piss And Vinegar
08. Americans Abroad
09. Animal
10. Ocean

I'm kind of disappointed that there are only 10 songs on it. And why the hell did they make a studio version of Americans Abroad? That song is not good!
Other than that I'm pretty excited even though there is a good chance I will be dissapointed over this.

asdf 04-14-2007 04:02 PM

I feel like I've already heard it.

That's probably because I've heard about 4 out of the 10 songs.

AIRIC 04-14-2007 04:07 PM

If you've heard one you've heard them all.

Yeah I know. I've decided that I won't listen to anymore leaked bootlegs or something like that untill the album's out. That makes it nicer to get the album.
I made the same promise to myself with the new Streetlight cd.

asdf 04-14-2007 04:09 PM

I rarely ever get leaked stuff. Espcially if it's stuff I don't care about that much.

Henrik 04-14-2007 04:11 PM

I only rarely do it either.

What kind of setlist do Against Me! play these days?

asdf 04-14-2007 04:32 PM

I know when I saw them it started with Walking is still Honest and Cliche Guevara. They played White People For Peace, Americans Abroad, two other new songs I think, and one of them might've been Up The Cuts. They also played The Energizer, Don't Lose Touch, and Rice and Bread. And ended with Pints of Guiness. The encore was The Disco Before the Breakdown and another song that I can't remember.

There's video of the whole show I was at excluding the encore.

TakeWarning 04-14-2007 10:09 PM

Claim it: Seeing Against Me! on my birthday!!!1

Hopefully they won't play much of their newer stuff. Apparently New Wave goes for 40 minutes even though it only has ten songs. I'm already put off it.

username77 04-15-2007 12:16 PM

I'm seeing Against Me! with Cursive and Mastadon next month.
I'm mostly going for Cursive. Mastadon's a joke.

Twin Human Highway Flares 04-15-2007 06:11 PM

I'm going to that show for Against Me!, but only because I was out of town when they headlined at a small venue. I'm kind of expecting it will be terrible.
