^^^^ why dammit reached big.... if finshed like 74 overall in 1998 rankings of music in australia throughout the whole year. Blink 182's new album did **** all. only song which go radio play was i miss you. the rest went out so quick!!!

and to independant ca... i wasnt saying it was a bad thing i was saying it i would rather they have kept there old style. travis changed them more than probably we think...

plaidbassbilly 07-23-2005 04:33 AM

Everyone says that the old stuff is better, but it's not necessarily the style of music that would've propelled them to what they are today.

Bad Blood 07-23-2005 04:53 AM

Why would it matter if they wouldnt have been as big if they still had Scott as the drummer?

theitalianrob 07-23-2005 07:04 AM

i personally like Enima of the state, Take off your pants and jacket and Their last album better than Chesire cat, budda and dude ranch. I think travis brang a new style that changed them for the better.

Bad Blood 07-23-2005 09:09 AM

haha "brang"
I like a bit of both. I liked old Blink and new blink.

Pazz 07-23-2005 09:14 AM

The reason Blink 182 has changed so much from Chesire Cat and Dude Ranch to their S/T is because they had matured, they grew up. If they had Scott still I think he wouldn't have adjusted to what Tom and Mark wanted. Putting Scotts face on top of Travis, I couldn't see Scott drumming these kind of slower songs compared to his really quick energetic songs like back in Dude Ranch. Travis can drum both energetic and slow. I think changing to Travis was probably their best decision as a band and I don't think they would have went as long with Scott as a drummer. They probably would have went another album or two then Scott would have probably dropped out and they would of went and found a really crap drummer and Blink would suck because they wouldn't have any music talent.

To that guy that thinks hes talking to Tom Delonge, you're an idiot! It's not Tom, I highly doubt he would give away his AIM s/n. He would have a million like fanboys(like you) asking him bunch of stupid questions. He wouldn't do it. It's probably a 30 year old guy who has never had a girlfriend and lives in his parents basement. He'll probably ask you if you want to meet and you being a stupid moron will say yes and then he will come and rape you up the bum.

Rock 'n' Roll Guy! 07-23-2005 10:53 AM

travis has made an album with transplants and its out, travis sed that blink are just takin a break and will get bak 2gether and make another album in january 2006

Untitled 07-23-2005 10:55 AM

Hmmm anything could happen, at this point. I dont think any of them actually know whats going to happen in the future. It'd be cool if they re joined though.

albert_bass 07-23-2005 11:06 AM

Why would it be cool if they rejoined? I don't like the new album at all, and if they rejoin they'll go on on playing crappy music until they're sick of touring and then become rich slobs with no real profit. To end up sucking more, it's better not to rejoin. Look at Op. Ivy, legendary band and only have one full length. Then look at The Offspring who are going downhill because they didn't know when to stop.

Rock 'n' Roll Guy! 07-23-2005 11:07 AM

I no

albert_bass 07-23-2005 11:07 AM
I no
Yeah, me neither.

Rock 'n' Roll Guy! 07-23-2005 11:11 AM

No i ment it would be gd if they rejoined

I liked there new album. Admitedly compared to there others its crap but as an album on its own i enjoy it. I think theres a few very week tracks but a lot i enjoy, and stockholme syndrome, posible my favorite blink track ever after carousel is on it. And id pay to see them agian.

Id like to hear plus44 if thats happening before new blink, but if that sucked it might put me off a new album.

albert_bass 07-23-2005 11:14 AM
No i ment it would be gd if they rejoined
Where are you from?
And id pay to see them agian.
And they know it. It's quite sad, the DK do the same.

Untitled 07-23-2005 11:22 AM

Yeah, with blink though they have a lot of kids who would pay to see them and cum there pant (if they've got to that age) to see them again. DK though is more older people proberly.

If they made an album like there latest, id be disapointed, as i said, i think its good, but its not blink, it dosnt sound like them, i want another dude ranch.

albert_bass 07-23-2005 11:23 AM

Dude ranch is the only one I like.
Yeah, with blink though they have a lot of kids who would pay to see them and cum there pant (if they've got to that age) to see them again. DK though is more older people proberly.
Well, of course there's old people but...there's much more teenagers and/or young people (I mean not from the DK era).

But you know...they're taking profit of them.

Untitled 07-23-2005 11:30 AM

Yeah, i understand what your saying, i wouldnt mind seeing DK, so i gues its true, because i speek for all teenagers everywhere.

I meant it would be cool cause they could tour some more so people could get the chance to see them, if they hadnt already (ie me). Plus i think it'd be interesting what approach to music they would have now...

but i disagree i thought there last album was really good... i really enjoyed all the songs except lost without you and i miss you. But the offsprong co1 was just so **** i didnt like any of the tracks much and it was just ****...........

personnaly i think blink 182 have 2 albums left. :)

FauxApathy 07-23-2005 06:40 PM

answering albert bass, I completely disagree with you. In My mind, The latest Blink Album was the best Stockholm Syndrome,Asthiena, and Violence are my favorite blink songs, and the offspring are still as good as ever. It's all just a matter of opinion I guess, But For me it would be wonderful if they made another record like S/T.

dancetomdance182 07-23-2005 08:41 PM

They'll do it for the love of music. Except Tom, I don't know whats with him lately.
