Sounds like an anime show, if you ask me.

I keed, I keed.
Most good martial arts anime's are usually based around Chakra control, not Chi.

Steerpike 09-11-2005 09:10 AM

Chi is a Chinese concept, anyway. Anime is Japanese.

Notice that I typed "I keed, I keed". :D

That it is, but the stories are not always based in Japan.

Steerpike 09-11-2005 09:19 AM

True.

It's just when I think of chi, I generally think more Crouching Tiger than Tenchi Muyo.
Would I be right to say the only reason people have their postcounts reset is to avoid looking like a loser on the internet who spends all his/her time posting on a message board?

You see through mah BS! This is why I don't get an account merge!

Hahaha :p

I don't know why people ask for resets. I think it's pointless. $.02.

Jom 09-11-2005 10:07 AM
You're going to request one, aren't you? :p

I finally replied to your article in pop-punk, and it only took me about a week.
Haha, not at all. Look at Ramsey. He asked for a reset, and a week later he was like, "Uh DBJ I want my posts back lol :-*." Really, it's all good. Same thing with Simple Man. He was like "BYE MX " and then he wanted a reset, and then he asked for them back. The only person who's kept the reset is Mozza, but I think she takes things as seriously around here as I do, so heh.

As for the article: yes, I saw it twenty minutes ago or so. Thanks :)

Jom 09-11-2005 11:41 AM

RCA is no fun.

Hey, hey, way to stay tr00 to your cause.

RCA 09-11-2005 11:43 AM

Please Jom, enough with the Dargon bashing. It's quite old, and that joke needs to die.

dUSK 09-11-2005 11:44 AM

^ That is a grim smiley.

superpeer 09-11-2005 11:45 AM

If you were to get a merge, would you keep the "Jom" title, or go back to being Neoli?

:p

So, after you left, we had a good AIM chat. We talked for like 2 hours about metaphysics and gas prices.

dUSK 09-11-2005 12:04 PM
What the hell is that in your avatar?
Album cover for The Red Paintings - Your Tears Are Warning Signs :)

That guy made the funniest thread mx has ever seen.:lol::lol:

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-11-2005 12:06 PM

I've heard one of their songs. I think it was The Revolution is Never Coming, and it was really quite good. I really liked the "choo choo!" part. :p

Haha you didn't get the full experience then, as that song is from an album which features no Drums and Bass. It's awesome live.

That was....interesting....

Superpeer closed my thread, I'm so sad.... :upset:

Shadows 09-11-2005 12:40 PM

Why was your thread closed? It wasn't illegal.

superpeer 09-11-2005 12:42 PM

There's a forum for it...

Arucard 09-11-2005 12:49 PM

Back to my old school avatar.

And also, i wanna join the death to posoers crew now :(

Shadows 09-11-2005 12:53 PM

Don't say that.

It has disbanded, and I've forbidden its reformation.

Arucard 09-11-2005 01:10 PM

Ahh alright. Well, at least get Dargon back.
That guy was just to elitist for my liking.
Mine as well. I probably wouldn't like Cryptopsy if it wasn't for him, so it's somewhat of a double-edged sword.

Arucard 09-11-2005 01:13 PM

That is true, but he knows alot about very good Metal.

Kurtz 09-11-2005 01:15 PM

Joe, do you like Rise Against? I know you're a big 88FL fan, but I'm not sure on your position on them.

munky_magik 09-11-2005 01:15 PM

I take it I'm alone in having actually liked the guy?

Shadows 09-11-2005 01:16 PM
That is true, but he knows alot about very good Metal.
At least I can attribute my love of Arsis to no one on these boards. That's reassuring.

Lunch 09-11-2005 01:17 PM
I take it I'm alone in having actually liked the guy?
Dargon? I was completely indifferent to him. I don't think we ever communicated, so I had no problem with him doing whatever he did in the metal threads. He left the CR guys alone.

jpj 09-11-2005 01:20 PM

I liked Dargon, he was very knowledgeable, if not a little on the arrogant side.

RCA 09-11-2005 01:23 PM

Dargon was a cool guy, I still talk to him often.

EDIT: Oh, and he's never coming back. He said that when he told everyone he was leaving, he was leaving for good. He was sick of all the false knowledge speading around at the time (though I've told him about how things are going now), and he was not going to witness it anymore.

What do you talk to him on?

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-11-2005 01:26 PM

I think he's probably the only ex-reg that I can think of who hasn't come back to the forum after saying they were leaving.

Has anyone seen Pete lately? He hasn't been in here for a week or so.
