How are Ween live?
How are Ween live?
I've only seen the live DVD, and from that I gather good things. I've been a HUGE fan for years, and this is the first time in a while they even come to my state, and it's right near me.

So happy.

I fail to see what is so amazing about Coffe and Cigarrettes (sp?).

It was good, I guess, but... :-/

Wanker 03-11-2006 02:48 PM

Coffee and Cigarettes was made for sceney scenesters to masturbate over.

The part with Iggy Pop and Tom Waits was good though.

ATM 03-11-2006 03:12 PM

My sister has that. I wonder if I should watch it.

Yeah. I was dissapointed with the Murray scene.

I loved the first one, and the one with Alfred Molina and Steve Coogan.

It's worth a watch, I say, although you may not want to see it all at once.

I just bought that last week too. It was only $11.99 so I was happy.

Zmev 03-11-2006 06:53 PM

May be getting 1/8th of Grandaddy Purp for $20 :D

I hated the first scene and liked the Bill Murray scene. It's a decent 3/5 movie, nothing more.
The part with Iggy Pop and Tom Waits was good though.
"hmpf. He's not on here either."

Radiobass81 03-11-2006 10:11 PM

Just finished watching "One Flew over the Cuckoo's nest".

br3ad_man 03-11-2006 10:16 PM

If any film is overrated, that one is. Sure it's good though.

Biz 03-11-2006 11:30 PM

I just purged myself of all sorts of stresses, worries, and depressants at a local show this evening. What a marvelous time.

Zmev 03-12-2006 12:55 AM

No Grandaddy Purp for me = /

br3ad_man 03-12-2006 04:00 AM

Man I'm screwed. I've been trying to do this English article all weekend. I've just been reminded that I need to write a scene for my Drama assignment by tomorrow and I'm supposed to hand in a draft for two 700 word essays tomorrow, which I haven't been able to start.

**** school. Honestly.

Clunge 03-12-2006 04:34 AM

I hurt, college Rockfest on friday and it was literally a four hour circle pit.

Some cunt went elbows into my back, turdtruffle.

:rageontheinternet:

br3ad_man 03-12-2006 05:49 AM

Circle pits are gaaaaay.

So I've nearly finished one assignment, am going to do a meh job on the second one because I'm only being marked on acting, not scripting and will do a very rough draft at school tomorrow of the third. I think I'll be ok. :)

Interstate 03-12-2006 06:25 AM

Just got back from a friends gathering/party. Me and this girl were up till about 3am talking about ghosts and random shit. Was fun though.
If any film is overrated, that one is. Sure it's good though.
I think you can't fully understand it if you haven't read the book.

I haven't read it :upset:.

But, until then, I agree with you.

JonM 03-12-2006 11:06 AM
No Grandaddy Purp for me = /
Booooo! That is unfortunate!!!!

Zmev 03-12-2006 11:35 AM

That it is.

I had to settle for white wine.

ATM 03-12-2006 01:47 PM

herb > wine

JonM 03-12-2006 03:10 PM

At least it's not liquor.

Daniel! 03-12-2006 04:00 PM

What happened to that whole us getting a new mod thing?

Doctor D. 03-12-2006 05:02 PM

I went to the Langerado ( www.langerado.com ) festival last night (Well, not in. Across the lake.) I saw The Flaming Lips.....well, projection screen backwards but I heard them sooo perfectly. Then I heard some of The Meters and Disco Biscuits. And it was just a 20 minute trip down the road from my house.Gooooooooood night.

el doctor 03-12-2006 07:14 PM

I've been assigned a research/final exam paper on "past achievements" and their impact on the world. So very vague. I'm leaning towards doing something with the Velvet Underground.
What happened to that whole us getting a new mod thing?
We're obviously too indie for a local mod.
