Taking Back Sunday are back to their original lineup.

Chance that the next album will be good: <10%

i went to nyc to see some free show cap'n jazz was doing with no age and lightning bolt and the death set but it started raining a couple songs into the death set's set so the show got moved to a bowling alley that capped at 700 people so i ended up getting left out in the rain

gonna cry

cobert 07-25-2010 11:22 PM
kwl coupe of my bros were der, said it was a good time
was definitely a super good time. they played every song from the LP except Flashpoint Catheter, and then a few other jamz (We Are Scientists, for some reason they played Tokyo, at least one more song that I can't remember). I shrieked every word. Fantastic time.

It was the most sweat that has ever been expelled from my body in a 2 hour period.

kitsch 07-28-2010 09:49 PM

zach, whats the site to listen to yr show?

christsimpson 07-29-2010 03:39 PM

indietrash are probably the most interesting thing I've heard in a while, and probably the second most unheard (and therefore underrated) band you'll find on this blog. They are no longer recording together or anything which is a real shame.

Two Norwegian boys who produce eerie surreal music. The whole album flows in a disjointed way; its impossible to tell where one song ends and the next begins. The end result is it sounding like a nightmare turned into music, with twists and turns everywhere. Some of it is definitely hardcore emo, but more disjointed and distant sounding, with the bass being raped all the time to create a harrowing diy noise feel. Interspersed through the album are piano parts, various pedal effects, loops and samples. The vocals tend to be scarce and when they are audible very distorted. If they were still around now with bands like Health and **** Buttons doing so well and saying that the quality of "guilty..." is easily comparable with either of the aforementioned's new albums.

IgniteYourAvail 07-29-2010 04:04 PM

Seriously?

christsimpson 07-29-2010 04:35 PM

ofc.
