So someone at school lit their locker on fire.

Exciting stuff.
It snowed this morning, and someone took a snowball and tried to stuff it in my friends locker, and just kinda melted all over the front

And I got to watch Gone In 60 Seconds for my science class today.

P.S. Happy birthday

BillCosby 03-10-2006 06:40 PM

My friend worked at a movie rental shop and then it burned down on his payday. I laughed.

Kurtz 03-10-2006 06:52 PM
P.S. Happy birthday
Why thank you.

Alright so I'm going to the town center tonght with my friends and I have no clue what to see if we go to the theater. Someone give me some ideas.

BillCosby 03-10-2006 06:54 PM

Dave Chappelle's Block Party.

Where are you going?

Kurtz 03-10-2006 07:03 PM

Long Beach Town Center.

And yeah I heard that was good.

JonM 03-10-2006 07:36 PM

I'm in a band! :)

Happymeal 03-10-2006 07:37 PM

The Hills Have Eyes lmao

Happy Buhthday guy.

br3ad_man 03-10-2006 07:41 PM

Happy birthday Mistah Kurtz.

Robert Crumb 03-10-2006 07:43 PM

I was going to go see Block Party today but I decided against it in favor of living music. Unless it rains. Then I might just stay home. Which would be a pretty shitty way to start spring break.

Edit: And happy birthday birthday person.

Kurtz 03-10-2006 07:48 PM

Once again, thank you all.
I'm in a band! :)
Sweet.

What genre?

Daniel! 03-10-2006 07:55 PM

Aw, man. Now I'm the only 14 year old around these parts.

BillCosby 03-10-2006 07:56 PM
Aw, man. Now I'm the only 14 year old around these parts.
And you know what that means...

Radiobass81 03-10-2006 07:58 PM
Rent Cidade de Deus, a Portugeuse(sp?) film, translated as City of God. It's a great film. It's all in subtitles, but it's still worth watching. Also: Amores Perros.
Will do.

Daniel! 03-10-2006 07:59 PM
And you know what that means...
That the bullies are going to pick on me?
That the bullies are going to pick on me?
I'm afraid you'll have to leave the internet.

Daniel! 03-10-2006 08:03 PM

Can I stay if I listen to a Ted Leo album?

br3ad_man 03-10-2006 09:41 PM

Whaaa? I thought you were 19.

I Was A Kaleidoscope 03-10-2006 10:02 PM

I got 2 free tickets to a football match [Port Power vs Brisbane Lions], but it'd be full of pie eating yelling bogans, and I'm not a very big fan of football, so I'm seeing Match Point and going out for dinner instead.

br3ad_man 03-10-2006 10:19 PM

I would go to the football even though I hate sport, but Match Point is a phenomenal alternative.

Daniel! 03-10-2006 10:27 PM

I just spent an hour switching music files from one hard drive to the other, and multiple times thought that I accidentaly deleted all of my music. But it all ended up working out, the only bad thing that happened was my last.fm's overall chart has completley disappeared. It might not be related, but I checked a few other users and theirs were still working. Strange.
Whaaa? I thought you were 19.
Where did you get that idea?

I Was A Kaleidoscope 03-10-2006 10:31 PM

I only recently checked out The Dismemberment Plan, and I had this remix of Face Of The Earth by 65daysofstatic for like a year, without knowing it was originally by The Dismemberment Plan. Hmm.

And I'm still undertaking the monumental task of organising all my music into genre, year, track number, and artist & album folders.

br3ad_man 03-11-2006 12:16 AM
Where did you get that idea?
Dunno.

The deal on cds I just got is insanity. Absolutely ridiculous. Here's what I got:

Sebadoh - Bakesale
Fugazi - In on the Kill Taker
Beastie Boys - Anthology: The Sounds of Science
Jesus Lizard - Head/Pure
Fugazi - Red Medicine
The Stooges - Raw Power
Alice in Chains - Jar of Flies
Pavement - Crooked Rain Crooked Rain
Blues Explosion - Mo' Width
Scientists - Absolute
Faith No More - The Real Thing

All of those were $3 each except AiC and Scientists were $2. $31 AU all up. There were a few more things I wanted but decided to stop there.

I Was A Kaleidoscope 03-11-2006 12:21 AM

Wow, that's a really good deal.
A hobo could find some coin on the ground and come out with some good CDs.
Where'd you get them from?

br3ad_man 03-11-2006 12:57 AM

Cash Converters

Kurtz 03-11-2006 01:03 AM
Beastie Boys - Anthology: The Sounds of Science

Beautiful purchases.

I Was A Kaleidoscope 03-11-2006 05:01 AM

So...I had Match Point and pizza. They were both good. :p
Cash Converters
I should check out Cash Converters more often.
I got some game that everybody hates but it is a cult classic for like $7 last year from there. And Seinfeld season 1 was really cheap. But I didn't check out the CDs.

br3ad_man 03-11-2006 05:49 AM

There's one 10 minutes walk from my house so I visit often. I reckon 30% of my cd collection comes from there. I've got some sweet DVDs there too. It's actually better for DVDs.

Glad to hear you liked Match Point.

Tomahawk 03-11-2006 08:02 AM

I looked in Cash Converters for some cheap CDs last year, they had like 30 Hanson CDs. That's about it.

Well...I can understand why people would be selling them.

My cousin used to love Hanson and even owned their Christmas album.
She hits me when I mention Hanson now.

There's one like 1 minute walk from my house.

And yeah, Match Point was good. I'll put peanut butter on a mouse trap the next time I have to set one. :p

Doctor D. 03-11-2006 09:32 AM

I just found out Ween is playing a venue about 20 minutes away from me sometime in early April.
