I Am Iron Man
We were playing Chase the Iron Man the other day with a pack of Marvel playing cards, because Iron Man is cooler than any Ace (he's the king of hearts)

Ah ok, I saw someone on a server before called 'moaner', without the capital M, so I thought it could be you.

ES:O is a great game, the time flies by when you play it.

I think it's because they haven't gove forward in America yet or some crazy reason like that.
FOAD.

Mexican Bandito 03-27-2006 09:10 AM

Yeah, so it's freezing here and raining :(
2 of my fingers are white because of the cold and they sting like fuckers, so I've made myself some toast with extra crunchy peanut butter to warm myself up again!

How are y'all today?

Jev 03-27-2006 09:17 AM

It's very windy here.
I have to get to band practice soon. I can't be bothered.

Jev 03-27-2006 10:19 AM

Ah I never knew about that. Cheers Wish.

Lord Abortion 03-27-2006 11:18 AM

I'm going to do that.

Brew 03-27-2006 12:01 PM

I had the orthodontist today, yay...not long now 'til my braces are off, 3 months or so I think :)

I also spent my weeks lunch money on the new Ensiferum EP which I'm slightly annoyed about, but I'll probably never see it again in HMV so I figured I had to buy it...

Mr. Black 03-27-2006 12:13 PM

Don't you have any non-chain music stores in Bristol?

We have tons here, and I'd reccomend you find out yours and use em, brew!
Since I found one I've saved so much money on CD's, cos they're cheaper, y'know, and I'm really friendly with the owner, so he lets me search through the stuff not on the shelves. Without him, I'd be Reign In Blood-less.

Np - Slayer - Raining Blood :D

Just a tip, like.

non chain music stores are great.

Only one decent one in Stirling though. Edinburgh has loads though, they feel alot better to just browse around. I feel followed walking about Virgin and HMV :-(

Mr. Black 03-27-2006 01:07 PM

They have lots of cool collectibles at the one I go to.
http://www.myleeds.net/leeds/bars&music-relics-interview.htm

I love them. That interview is really old, though. They have loads of Metal now too.

That's because you probably are being followed.

Turns out that guy in the hmv shirt doesn't just think you're cute, but actually thinks you're a shoplifter.

or something =s

I wouldn't mind so much if I was just in the shop for a minute, it's just I like to take ages browsing cd's and dvd's. I like the read the whole blurb and go back and forth before making my decision on what to buy. I DON'T LIKE TO BE RUSHED! lol

Brew 03-27-2006 02:51 PM

We do have non-chain music stores in Bristol, the bestest one ever for 2nd hand vinyl and cd's closed down a few years ago though, and the 2nd best one is a good miles walk up a rather steep hill and it was raining :(

Besides, the EP was only £10 which is impressive for HMV.

Lord Abortion 03-27-2006 02:55 PM

I'd like to have a local CD shop that sells non-mainstream stuff for a non-heart failure inducing price...but the internet makes a mockery of HMV prices.

Music Zone occasionaly combines cheap and good, but the choice is appalling.

It took me nearly the whole show to figure out it was the Kaiser Cheifs guy presenting it.He's gotten thin!

PAJJ 03-27-2006 03:22 PM

What happened to Mark Lamar?

Mexican Bandito 03-27-2006 03:43 PM
What happened to Mark Lamar?
Lord Abortion 03-27-2006 03:45 PM

Ugh, I'm glad I didn't watch it, the Kaiser Chiefs are hella gay.

Jev 03-27-2006 03:49 PM

I dunno he was quite funny. Although the guy who claimed he had the idea for Live8 was retarded.

Atomic Rain 03-27-2006 04:01 PM

That's the curly haired chap right, he was pretty funny.

I missed the last episode, sounds funny will have to catch it on Sunday, the chap from the Kaiser Chiefs has seemed pretty funny when I've seen him on other tv shows, he's also seemed fairly wasted as well....

Yeah it's him, he presents Popworlds - which I think is hilarious.
He reminds me of Jimmy Carr

PAJJ 03-28-2006 06:14 AM

Ah, i've never seen popworld, but he did remind me of Jimmy Carr, but funnier and not as ugly.

2muchket! 03-28-2006 06:43 AM

That bit with that muppet last week

"so would like to tell the viewers what your song flip reverse it means ??"

PAJJ 03-28-2006 07:16 AM

Did you see the one ages ago with that kid from Blazing Squad, they were doing intros and it was house of the rising sun, and Mark Lamar starts singing the song jumps on the desk and continues really enthusiastically and pretty good as well, and he still didn't get it and said i dunno but i know the melody.

That was brilliant.

I vaguley remember that yeah.

"So what are the other members of blazing squad doing"

"......well two of em went out and got jobs"

The little skit bill bailey and the bloke from the delays was pretty funny as well.
"Right I'll whisper somethin funny you laugh nonchalantly and then we shall stand"

Mexican Bandito 03-28-2006 09:02 AM

Bye bye :(

No internet 'till tomorrow night OMG
