I'd prefer to not risk my life for an average show.
So then why ever leave the house? I don't want to risk getting hit by a car, so I won't go hang out with my friends. This is Brooklyn we're talking about, not Baghdad. |
I think it was Brooklyn where some kid was killed for his iPod a week or 2 ago.
|
Maybe I'm just crazy, I don't know. Sorry for being a prick, both of you.
How much of a ***** are you? How long are you gonna be in the neighborhood not counting being at the venue? A half hour? Honestly what are the chances that anything happens to you? Virtually zero. You want to go to a hardcore show, where there's a great chance of fights breaking out and tuff guys randomly ****ing with you, but you won't go because you're afraid of how "bad" the neighborhood is? Besides, people always exaggerate how bad the neighborhoods they go to are so they look cool.
1. No one is going to beat me up or fight at a 20-30 person show featuring fun, modern-day youth-crew styled bands. It's just not going to happen. 2. The subway ride out there and the time it takes to walk to the "venue," no matter how much time it takes, might still put me at risk. 3. Parts of Brooklyn are f.ucking s.hitty dude... you have no idea. 4. I don't want to look cool... if I wanted to, I would have said "Man, that show is in a bad neighborhood, but I'm going anyway just because I love the 'core so much, brah." |

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. |
NO. NOT RIGHT. EMO MEANS EMOTIONAL HARDCORE. NOT HARDCORE THAT HAS EMOTION IN IT. OBVIOUSLY ALL MUSIC HAS ****ING EMOTION. IT REALLY SHOULDN'T BE THIS ****ING COMPLICATED FOR EVERYONE. JESUS ****ING TAP DANCING ****** LIPPING ****ING **** *** CHRIST.
Niko really is god. |
Nah

And the point of them going to the show was?
Food and fun. |
Yeah, but you can do a BBQ at your own house which would be more fun, theres no point in standing outside a show if you're not going to go in. You can't even hear the music that great outside, especially if you're listening to something different.
