1. No one is going to beat me up or fight at a 20-30 person show featuring fun, modern-day youth-crew styled bands. It's just not going to happen.
2. The subway ride out there and the time it takes to walk to the "venue," no matter how much time it takes, might still put me at risk.

The 2nd time i saw GIA is was in a basement i had to take 2 buses and a skytrain to. I took 2 busses back and the skytrain had stoped because it was late. I walked throught East Vancouver to get home. East Vancouver is the worst place for drugs in the world(thats a fact not making it up)

Yeah, but you can do a BBQ at your own house which would be more fun, theres no point in standing outside a show if you're not going to go in. You can't even hear the music that great outside, especially if you're listening to something different.
