Wow. I've been here for over a year (getting close to two years, actually), have more posts than all of you (all being Dieforitall89, Mr. Jiggy Fly, and neal_672), use good grammar, and correct spelling, and yet all of you have at least three times as many rep. points as I do.

Am I a bad poster?
it's not the number of posts that count, it's the quality, use humour on a regular bassist and be generally nice and helpful :thumb: I'm sure you are already, just try and make yourself more noticed...

cliffburtonrules 11-25-2004 12:07 PM

Speaking of post-count... how long did it take you people to hit 1,000?

I personally don't really care about post-count I was just curious.
Practicing my r-h 4 finger technique.
trust me you'll play faster with just 2 fingers

Omega Red 11-25-2004 12:20 PM
That sucks!!
tall me about it

neal_672 11-25-2004 12:21 PM
trust me you'll play faster with just 2 fingers
I agree, 2 finger technique is much more fluid and consistent, just work on 2 finger...

PaulR 11-25-2004 12:21 PM

Would he play faster with 3?

Mr. Jiggy Fly 11-25-2004 12:21 PM

When I play with 3 it sounds like triplets.

neal_672 11-25-2004 12:22 PM

Yeah same here, i seriously am a firm believer that you can go as fast as you want with enough practice on 2 fingers...

Omega Red 11-25-2004 12:23 PM
Would he play faster with 3?
it matters how you play it, if your play it as a gallop you'll get a gallopy sound every time.

If you play like gary willis, you wount play anyfaster cause her only plays 2 fingers at any time eventhought he uses all 3

neal_672 11-25-2004 12:24 PM

Right guys, i'd best be off, ciao for now

Mr. Jiggy Fly 11-25-2004 12:24 PM

I just think having multiple techniques with be useful. I still primarily play with two, and occassionally 3.

Omega Red 11-25-2004 12:24 PM
When I play with 3 it sounds like triplets.
the only way to play with three and have it sound good is to do it like steve bailey

I-M-R-M

the only thing with that is rhythm is very hard to keep, because every thing in music is based on 2 just about

Mr. Jiggy Fly 11-25-2004 12:25 PM

Yeah, I need to practice that. thanks :).
