Those choices aren't particularly original.
The Wall, DSOTM, Sgt. Peppers and Tommy were the only choices.

I figured that out after backtracking a few pages.

For my senior paper, I decided to do a report on Storytelling Through Rock Music : Concept Albums, Rock Opera, and Prog Rock. Its gonna be very spiffy. I've been spending all my time at the library checking out every single Prog CD I can get my hands on...its been fun.

So far I've only heard Thick as a Brick (very **** good album) and I have plenty others on hold.

MalcolmYoungRock 02-17-2005 06:25 PM

God, I miss those debates.

So, what do you think about maybe.. Tommy vs Sgt Peppers or Tommy vs The Wall?

Edit: Moon, if you want, I'll do all the organization crap and such. I'll record it and post it too.

Johnny B. Good 02-17-2005 06:26 PM

just do Tommy because it rocks

I wish I could write a paper on music or something like that.

What do you all think of Donovan? I've probably asked this before. I think he's great...favourite songs are probably Hurdy Gurdy Man, Colours, and Mellow Yellow. Most of his songs are great though.
I like Season of the Witch

Yeah those debates were awesome.

Even though Zeppelin got schooled. That's when I still thought JPJ was a n00b/Fanboy.

Do you understand the concept of a debate?

There has to be two or more sides.

Sillyhead.

Is Tommy really comparable to Sgt. Peppers?

Walrus Gumboot 02-17-2005 06:31 PM

If there are double LPs like Tommy they shouldn't be pitted against albums that aren't-- unfair advantage, you know

What was it, Lunch, JPJ and I on Zeppelin and You, Badmoon, and Rock not rolled on the Who.

We got fucking owned.

Oh, and Miik occasionally went from side to side.

I was talking to Johnny B Good, look at the quote.

So Tommy vs The Wall, because I'm sure Sgt Pepper's would kill.

??

Johnny B. Good 02-17-2005 06:34 PM

yes I was talking to Seafroggys

I was originally for The Who, then fought for both sides once I saw the ownage.

Lunch was on the Who side and Rock was on ours, i think.

I think Sgt. Pepper's is overrated.

Illmatic 02-17-2005 06:35 PM

One could argue that Blood on the Tracks was a concept album, even though it would be hard to do.

Who else was on Zeppelin?? Magicbus?

ledpoisoning27 02-17-2005 06:37 PM

Over the last year, i have liked the Who more than Zeppelin

lunch998 02-17-2005 06:37 PM
Who else was on Zeppelin?? Magicbus?
Don't remember. All I remember was that I played a crucial role for both sides.

Johnny B. Good 02-17-2005 06:37 PM

What was the debate about?

lunch998 02-17-2005 06:38 PM
What was the debate about?
Who was better, basically. We compared individual skill, influence, and other things.

Badmoon 02-17-2005 06:38 PM
Don't remember. All I remember was that I played a crucial role for both sides.
Look back about 200 or 300 pages and you'll see the whole thing.

Johnny B. Good 02-17-2005 06:39 PM

Who won the debate?

lunch998 02-17-2005 06:39 PM
We could have done without ya ;)
Hah. Yea right.

Badmoon 02-17-2005 06:41 PM
