Choices always were a problem for you, what you need is someone strong to guide you. deaf and blinded dumb and born to follow what you need is someone strong to guide you like me. If you want to get your soul to heaven trust in me now dont you judge or question. You are broken now but faith can heal you just do everything i tell you to do.

Mr. Jiggy Fly 11-25-2004 11:11 AM

^^what?

Dieforitall89 11-25-2004 11:12 AM

Just random lyrics symbolizing that im here. :p Ill give a cookie to someone that can name the song.

cliffburtonrules 11-25-2004 11:12 AM

Right.... I'm confused.

neal_672 11-25-2004 11:13 AM

Ibanez were originally a Fender (or was it Gibson) copy company until they had a lawsuit filed against them, so it's possible, make a thread about it get an experts opinon...

EDIT: The song is Tool - Opiate isn't it?

Rollo47 11-25-2004 11:13 AM
It looks like a Fender Jazz with the name being replaced with an Ibanez.

Nope, doesnt look authentic to me.
Ibanez used to produce direct copies of Fender basses, until they were sued.

Rollo47 11-25-2004 11:27 AM

Wow. I've been here for over a year (getting close to two years, actually), have more posts than all of you (all being Dieforitall89, Mr. Jiggy Fly, and neal_672), use good grammar, and correct spelling, and yet all of you have at least three times as many rep. points as I do.

Am I a bad poster?

Mr. Jiggy Fly 11-25-2004 11:28 AM

Has anybody ever heard of Veillette Guitars? The Retro bass looks pretty promising

www.veilletteguitars.com

cliffburtonrules 11-25-2004 11:31 AM

I dont know, Rollo maybe you are...

no offense meant put I KNOW I'm not a good poster and I deal with it and move on.

Muadip 11-25-2004 11:32 AM

It's pretty scratchless for such an old bass...

But looks nice

:smoke:

Rollo47 11-25-2004 11:32 AM

Heh, yeah. That was meant as a joke, really.

cliffburtonrules 11-25-2004 11:33 AM

Oops, but I was serious I'm not a good poster...

Rollo47 11-25-2004 11:36 AM

Meh. I haven't noticed any overly bad posting from you.

Muadip 11-25-2004 11:36 AM

 I'll give you a rep just for that

:smoke:

Rollo47 11-25-2004 11:38 AM

What in tarnation?

cliffburtonrules 11-25-2004 11:39 AM

When I first was a member here I think I posted a post in the Rock/Metal forum and I said (because of false information from my dad) that Adrian Smith was the bassist for Iron Maiden.

Ha ha that's only one example of how MX has helped me.

Rollo47 11-25-2004 11:40 AM

Ah, Iron Maiden. So bogan, but somehow cool.

cliffburtonrules 11-25-2004 11:43 AM

They rock, that's one band I wanna see live before they're done.

I think Steve was the first "out there" bassist I heard. I mean like everyone either stuck to the guitar line or root notes.

Rollo47 11-25-2004 11:43 AM

Anyway. I better go to bed, I have a jazz-band performance tomorrow. Or today, rather - it being 1:30am and all.

Steve has some very good lines, but also a lot of root notes.

I'm actually going now. Unless someone posts something I can reply to before I post this.

Mr. Jiggy Fly 11-25-2004 11:44 AM

G'morning rollo (haha)

cliffburtonrules 11-25-2004 11:46 AM

*that drum beat when some one tells a joke*

Ya it's 9:40 here in Southern Califronia on Thanksgiving day.

I'm extremely hungry but I am not going to eat breakfast in an attempt to eat all the food I can at dinner. :thumb:

Mr. Jiggy Fly 11-25-2004 11:47 AM

Your in socal?

cliffburtonrules 11-25-2004 11:52 AM

Yep Chino Hills.

It's like only a number of miles from LA

Mr. Jiggy Fly 11-25-2004 11:55 AM

Oh, your like 2 hours from me.

Left Shoe 11-25-2004 11:56 AM

im not going to eat food today, bleh all this stuff about the ameican obesity epidemic then i come on here and cliff wants to stuff himself silly.

cliffburtonrules 11-25-2004 12:02 PM

I would be concerned about the obesity problem if I was obese.

I'm skinny for 13 and have almost no muscle on me. But I'm not just skin and bones as you would imagine. Not skinny but not fat kinda in between.
