why is oldschool metalcore so much better than the **** being made these days?

because for both genres bands aren't trying to make artistic statements or do anything new, they're just emulating their influences while totally missing the point of the music they're trying to play

well no i was kinda kidding cause modern metalcore is way evolved from oldschool metalcore

i mean, look at the new underoath, if there's no artistic statements there, lol

or a long awaited tragedy, they're generic but you can tell they've really got there hearts in their music

and I know about all the metalcore before it became the new nu metal or whatever, I've been defending it against retarded sheep metalheads for forever. I just don't listen to it because it gives more of a punk/emo vibe than I'm looking for (excuse the comparison if I'm wrong since I don't listen to punk or emo either).
