That always works.

So I assume everyone is on springbreak now. How's that going for everyone? Just finished a short vacation on my dad's side and soon a short one on my mom's side. I have no time for homework

/there goes NYU.

Stormrider 04-13-2006 06:07 PM

My spring break was in the beginning of March. Wasn't really spring yet but wtvr.

Ok well then I'll re-word it. How's everyone spring/Easter/Passover/whateveryoucallthisweekend break?

Stormrider 04-13-2006 06:09 PM

Haha :p

Mines good so far. Tomorrow I'm going to a friends house to do a short movie thingy for an english thingy. Will be fun.

All of my friends have had to do that for English class but I have never had to. I'm even the soon-to-be manager of the entire TV Production class/club/everything at my school (which is kind of well known all over for TV stuff).

blue3 04-13-2006 06:11 PM

Well have fun with that 'thingy'.

Spring break, for me. It's going good, even though the weather in Vancouver is shitty.

Joe 04-13-2006 06:12 PM

I've had a lot of luck lately with weather. I did four college tours and each day was sunny and warm enough where I wasn't too hot or anything.

No no. It isn't a movie. It's an argumentative essay, and he chose to do a mocie to help his argument.

I'm not in his group, but I'll be part o the movie. We're in ther same class, it'll be a good laugh :p

Weather here wasn't very sunny today. Humid though at times.

Shred Danson 04-13-2006 06:16 PM

I am currently abusing my floyd rose on my Jackson DKMG. :D

That's pretty cool. My friends had to do seens of old plays. They did Much Ado About Nothing and some other play (maybe Hamlet?) and the movies were absolutely hillarious. They were poorly done and the music was all the heaviest of metal (one of my two metalhead friends) and so it was pretty cool.

I had some fun with that because I didn't bring over my good guitar.

Stormrider 04-13-2006 06:45 PM

My next guitar will have a fix bridge :)

Shred Danson 04-13-2006 07:05 PM

My next guitar will be a custom :)

GenuineImitation 04-13-2006 07:14 PM

Hey guys. I just got back from the cd store. This is what I bought:

Dave Gilmour - On an Island
The Clash - London Calling
Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Rush - In Rio
Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime
Faith No More - Angel Dust

I was really disappointed because they were sold out of the new Kalmah album and Lacuna Coil's new album.

Shred Danson 04-13-2006 07:30 PM
Lacuna Coil's new album.
I heard that was disappointing...
I heard that was disappointing...
They had it on sale for 7 bucks the day before, so I figured it wouldn't put a big dent in my wallet to try it out.

Cool, man ! :)

And how much did that cost GenuineImitation ?

Good philosophy.

blue3 04-13-2006 07:52 PM

I got Faith No More CDs today, too. The Real Thing and King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime.

Stormrider 04-13-2006 07:55 PM

Its about a month or so, maybe a lil more that I havn't bought a cd :(

It will be a lot more too, at the rate that I'm getting money, which is basicly nothing.

blue3 04-13-2006 07:59 PM

Get a job?

Stormrider 04-13-2006 08:02 PM

That could wait a year or 2 :p

Shattered_Future 04-13-2006 08:09 PM
I heard that was disappointing...
It all depends on how you look at it...if you aren't a Lacuna Coil fan, there's no way in hell this will convert you.

If you are, you got a few options...the singing is improved, but the music has gone downhill. It's very nu-metal now, sans rapping, but there's some interesting ethnic elements in it.

The best and worst thing about the album is its simplicity. As before, it's completely generic and you won't find anything new on there, but it's irresistably catchy.

I need to find a summer job...

Illmatic 04-13-2006 09:11 PM

I had no idea how I got by without a job...asking my mom for money would just be embarrassing.

Then again I'm 19 so I feel differently about it.

Cain 04-13-2006 11:04 PM

Well, I am thoroughly tired, have just come back from the Joe Satriani/Eric Johnson concert in NYC, and have decided that under no circumstances will I ever sit (or, in this case, stand) through an entire instrumental guitar player concert again. I just cannot watch all that guitar soloing and wailing for three hours plus. It's too much already.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I went, and Satriani especially was very awesome, but it still just gets boring. One can't help it.

Steerpike 04-13-2006 11:10 PM

10 bucks says if you said that in the Guitar forum, they'd be slinging mud at you within five minutes.

On the topic of jobs, it looks like I'll be working at Lowes Theater this summer. At least I get to watch movies for free.

The other day someone thought I was a senior...why does everyone think I'm older than I really am? :-\

Josh 04-14-2006 04:57 AM

wow, no posts here for 5 and a half hours, what's up with you guys?
finally there's nice weather here, w00t. still too windy to go shooting though :upset:

Because you're grumpy.

Jev 04-14-2006 05:32 AM

I need to get my Graphics project done by Tuesday but I'm just not motivated enough  Dammit.
