Dimmu Burger 02-27-2008 08:05 PM
What bands do you like?
These may not all be scenegrind, but i'll try:

War From A Harlot's Mouth
See You Next Tuesday
The Red Chord
Robotosaurus
Daughters
The Number 12 Looks Like You
Heavy Heavy Low Low
The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza
Genghis Tron

They're all kinda scene bands that have grind stuff in them. Thus: Scenegrind!

Txus 02-27-2008 09:53 PM

hot topic is cool because i am too fat and they have some band shirts in my size sometimes.

Pete 02-28-2008 03:03 AM
Destroyer Destroyer's old stuff is really good, too. That dude could do the most high pitched vocals ever. Mad cool.
even higher than Sawtooth Grin?

are they considered scenegrind, too? if so, theyre the best scenegrind band ever

i am the robots 02-28-2008 04:49 AM
even higher than Sawtooth Grin?

WAY high pitched. Sounds ****ing cool. I'm not into Sawtooth Grin at all.

Pete 02-28-2008 07:39 AM

if their myspace-songs are any indication, the sawtooth grin has higher pitched vocals mostly, i think

meh, doesn't really matter. Destroyer Destroyer sound kinda cool

RetiredAt21 02-28-2008 07:41 AM

Destroyer Destroyer in the old days had the most high pitched screaming vocals ever. They'd put the Sawtooth Grin to shame.

UpperDecker 02-28-2008 09:13 AM

Is it true that the new Genghis Tron has no grind sound whatsoever on the whole cd?

ATM 02-28-2008 09:38 AM

Chatted with a guy who drummed with Tony Danza, All Else Failed, and some other **** last night.

There's still some grind in there. Its a really good album. I'll be seeing them with Converge.

RetiredAt21 02-28-2008 01:32 PM
Is it true that the new Genghis Tron has no grind sound whatsoever on the whole cd?
There aren't any "grind" songs, but it's there. It's just not the basis anymore. It's apparent in a few tracks, though. Find my review for clarification because I"m pooped and not getting a link.

It sounds like something I would like. I'll check them out.

Ok I checked them out. Interesting stuff. Noise and screaming, just what I like.

RetiredAt21 02-29-2008 09:10 AM

Sometimes (a lot, actually) they border on screamo.

Dimmu Burger 02-29-2008 09:10 AM
Sometimes (a lot, actually) they border on screamo.
RetiredAt21 02-29-2008 09:12 AM
