To add to my comments about Rob Lowe, I was shocked to find that he smokes. :o

I wonder what will happen with Solitude Aeternus now that Rob also sings with Candlemass. I hope it wil not become some sort of side project.

John Perez said that they aren't very active anyway, so it will be the same.

They did have something like 10 years between releases anyway now that I think of it.

New Candlemass is pretty good so far. I haven't shut it off in boredom yet, which is a good sign.

Yeah...I think it rapes the **** out of the s/t, but I'm not that big on Messiah and you know how I feel about Rob Lowe. :p

Seven Silver Keys is the only song worth anything on the self titled, but it's worth aloooot.

I only like it and Black Dwarf. But I like every track on the new one.

I dunno, I much prefer Solitude Aeternus to this.

Rob's vocals are different than they are in SA.

Yeah...I gotta say I liked SA's better.

Ablaze In Hatred is some real good stuff, last new Doom band I heard that I really liked.

I've decided that Dance Of December Souls is for sure in my absolute top 3 albums of all time.

Any fans of the godly Rising Dust? For me they epitomise doom completely.

Just got Colour Hazes self titled CD through the mail :) gonna sit down and take it all in later

I just bought Mournful Cries by Saint Vitus which is my first real introduction to Saint Vitus, and my first CD with Wino. I think its bloody great. What do you guys think of Saint Vitus?

One of the best Doom bands ever, really.

Haha fair enough, I think if you made me choose (I'd rather you didn't) I would have to say I like Pentagram more but then again this album is only new to me. It has some awesome riffs on it and I love Wino's vocals, suits it perfectly. Whats the stuff without him singing like?

Unfortunately that's all there is now and there's been no update from the band re: a new album for ages now. I pester them on a regular basis via Gayspace but haven't heard anything back. They're still gigging though.

I just saw Sagh confirmed themselves for Wacken this year.

Saint Vitus are awesome, Wino comes into my work all the time (which I have bragged about a million times) :D

I remebered listening to their album some time back so I just listened to it again. They'll be on my to watch list for sure.

I saw them back in September with Celtic Frost. I was already a huge fan of their album, but they really put on a killer show.
