I have an idea.
A while ago I was reading this anarchist newsletter that came with an Aus-Rotten LP, and it had a listing of a bunch of things people could go to, like classes or activities. So I got the idea of maybe holding some sort of silkscreening/pin making event sometime, so a lot of kids from the SLC scene could all hang out an make merch. I can handle expenses and stuff, but has anyone ever organized any sort of event? I'd need a place to hold it, so all I can think of is renting out a park pavillion. I basically need somewhere with some electrical outlets, and a place to wash off screens. So any ideas/suggestions? Has anyone had any experience with organizing things other than shows? |
Nope but it's a good idea.

Just because I got an idea fromm an anarchist newsletter 1. dosen't make me an anarchist 2. dosen't make me think patches lead to ANARCHY!!!!! the funny thing was that the newsletter listed 'anarchist soccer' in thier events....what the ****? |

OK DIYers, help me out here.
Where can I get some red and black zebra print fabric from in London or online? (No I'm not punk :p) Basically I had a spark of genius http://www.mydivascloset.com/netarmwaglin.html in red http://www.mydivascloset.com/netarmwain3c.html in black And tie a very slashed and frayed strip of red and black zebra (or leopard I guess) print around the seam.
punkrockshop.co.uk activedistribution.org.uk All Ages//Camden is always a good place to pick up patches too.
Where's All Ages? |

Normal no hand/contact rules apply, but other than that rules like offsides, etc don't apply. So its basically the soccer you played in 6th grade. At least if you went to a bilingual elementary like I did. |

pssh, you must be way behind the curve, that was like 3rd grade for me. and for the record, there are no patches that cause anarchy. sadly. |

Really good link, this should go in the first DIY post. So should A Stencil Guide. But I'm lazy. |
/is an idiot.
If you were to print that out, err. How the f'uck does that site work. |
/is an idiot.
If you were to print that out, err. How the f'uck does that site work.
You print it out, then cut out the black part. If you want you could cut out the black part of the stencil over some cardboard, then the stencil will last longer. |
Makes sense, that's alot of black parts though.
|
That clockwork orange eyes one looks pretty awesome.
Some of them look quite complicated and intriquite. Also would be hard to do, like when the black parts don't connect. |
The black part is the part you cut out.
Maybe I looked at one wrong, it just looked the way to was designed, if you cut it out, it wouldn't work. I'm defintely trying some of these out, like the capitalism one. |
