There's a local music magazine here, and I'm on the back cover of the second issue. Well, the back of my head is. It depicts the ending of a really intense set by a local band. The picutre features the bassist onstage lying on his back with his buddy from the audience on top of him, and the guitarist looking down in exhaustion, his instrument sitting noisily feeding back before his amplifier.
You guys should read this because the author is smart, handsome and witty and wrote it in 45 minutes.
It seems kind of shitty compared to the quality I remember of your reviews. And I quote.. "If I had a cat, I would name it Brian Eno"

I was front and center Friday night for the New Pornographers and Belle & Sebastian. It was an awesome show indeed. I was expecting to enjoy TNP, but I was still surprised at how great they were (especially with their cover of "Eye of the Tiger"), and B&S was everything I was hoping for and more (complete with Stuart Murdoch singing a verse of "Don't Stop Believin'").

My friend insisted on taking me downtown today to a bunch of vintage clothing stores.

I ended up walking away with a really awesome Pink Floyd shirt and a really awesome Smashing Pumpkins shirt.

Oh and did I mention I ordered my tickets for Death Cab/Franz Faginand :-o

All in all, great weekend.

I like both equally :)

FF for fun dance music, DCFC for good indie pop.

I didn't know there was a user here named "Tonys_Theme." That's a fine Pixies song :)

It's like someone heard the Ween song "Reggaejunkiejew" and figured two out of three was good enough.
