Morning MX
Doing nothing feels damn right. I have to catch the train in a few hours and go to some friends who are throwing off a sushi party  oh well, there is beer, so it should be good. I'm going out on saterday to a rockclub for the first time since 3 months, looking forward to it. esp. considering it's some promo night. all women get 7 free bottles of beer upon entrance. I'm taking my gf with me, and she doesn't drink beer  So it's all for me, looks like I will be having a cheap evening. I think it's very discriminating to only give this to women. np: Solefald - Proprietors Of Red
7 free bottles? I'd be dressing up as a girl right now if I were going. |
7 free bottles?
I'd be dressing up as a girl right now if I were going.
It's not that big a problem for me, since my gf is all pasing them over to me  I considered going dressed as a chick as well, I mean I already have the long hair. the only downside is that I should get rid of my beard :( |
says who. I've seen plenty women with facial hair.
|
Riva: awesome avatar / location :thumb: that has to be one of the greatest films ever. i might watch it later while i'm trying to do my prep for my french oral exams that are in 3 and a half weeks. and what a shame, The Life Of Brian is on the same tape.
women with facial hair scare me. makes me think of Little Britain. ah, now i have a whole afternoon at home by myself. the family and the visitors we have are all going out, so i finally get some peace and quiet. |
Thanks. I bought the special edition on DVD yesterday. It's great. Lots of bonus material.
|
oooh, nice. i just have a video with The Life Of Brian / The Holy Grail on it that i got in HMV for £4 or £5 last year.
the rabbit scene is priceless. |
I love the cow being catapulted onto them.
King Arthur: JESUS CHRIST! RUN! |
yeh. and then the wooden rabbit part.
British humour ftw :p holy shit, the weather's bad today. supposedly getting galeforce winds later as well, it's pretty windy already and now it's pissing down :(. |

So, I just finished watching King Kong and I have to say its incredibly overrated. I enjoyed it, but everybody said it was mind blowing.
Not so much for me. |
it wasn't exactly mindblowing, but it's still a good film.
|
who said King Kong was that good?
|
Everybody I know. I didn't gear any opinion other than it was one of the greatest things they have ever seen.
|
i would have to say the people you know have terrible taste in movies...
but really, thats the majority of people |
I don't really have tastes in movies... I just watch whatever's on, though I do love LOTR and anything Monty Python... I guess I'm a comedy guy though, I love Slackers, I love Don't Be A Menace..., etc.
Anyhow, I'm gonna go enjoy the first day of spring break and go bake outside with my bros, cya. |
Wow, I'm listening to Holst's "The Planets," and it's AWESOME. I'm looking at the score too, but it's ridiculously difficult and crazy.
I really need more classical. Perhaps I could get suggestions from those in the know? I've dabbled in Bach and Mozart, but it's the really dramatic, more contemporary stuff with the complex harmonies and stuff like this that catches my fancy. |
The Planets is an amazing piece. i love how in Symphony X's The Divine Wings of Tragedy they use Mars in the intro.
|

I'm pretty much the same, although I have seen quite a few Mafia and War movies. |
